Just making a post here before I pass out and yes, I'm alive here too. I just don't post often as I'm not really a person who eagerly shares things about myself.
I want to improve myself by getting the initiative to post more often and meet new people. My crippling social anxiety makes it really hard for me to do so, but I really want to work on it this year.
I already mentioned it on my bluesky post but I'm currently looking for friends/mutuals who I can communicate with on here, bluesky or discord.

DON’T HIDE IMPORTANT PLOT POINTS AND CHARACTER MOTIVATIONS IN OPTIONAL INTERACTIONS/EVENTS!
People who only want to enjoy the baseline experience should not be left without crucial information that makes the story progress and develop as normal. For those that do wish to seek out extra secrets or further interact with the characters on their own time, then feel free to them those fun facts. While they add nice little details about characters or the setting previously established, they are still simply rewards for players that dedicate more time than the average person might to learning all there is to know about their favorite characters. The optional information should be relatively inconsequential, not be the entirety of the context surrounding why a character does what they do in the story. Otherwise, it is effectively punishing a grand majority of the playerbase by intentionally hiding information that should be known or revealed in the plot by certain points. Players are not at fault for missing a character’s optional dialogue or a small collectible when it is not treated with the same importance as the rest of the details provided in the main story. Knowing what and what not to reveal in the main story and when to reveal it can make or break an average player’s experience, and when it is not given proper diligence in ensuring a smooth reading for every type of player, that’s when the upset and confusion arises.

I still can't believe that it's now been 2 years since this game came out and I'm still in love with the story and its characters... so I made a fic about my love for it! This Minibang has provided me the opportunity to do so, along with working with other Rain Code fic writers and artists. ^^
I won't lie, writing this piece was a little difficult as I've drawn some of Makoto's emotions from my own past experiences along with trying to brainstorm everything so that it all makes sense for a possible canon compliant story. But it all worked out in the end and I couldn't be more happier!

I never expected to get into this game and end up being obsessed with Takumi and Eito's relationship. Kodaka perfected the toxic yaoi formula and I'm eating it all up. It inspired me to write Aotsumi with the idea of an siren becoming growing an unhealthy obsession for a human where chaos and drama ensue. Nothing more and nothing less.

Hoo boy, I would like to apologize for the long wait and offer this extra long chapter as a thank you for your patience.
This was a pretty interesting piece to write for several reasons. I always wanted to incorporate music into one of my works, but I never found the right opportunity to do so until now (and hopefully it stands up to par with the other chapters before it). Music has helped me a lot with whenever I struggled with my mental health or just overcoming stress in my daily life, so I ended up becoming quite attached to making sure this chapter is written the best way I could.
Is it self-indulgent? Yes. Does the existence of song I used make sense? Possibly not, but I enjoyed writing it and that's what matters most.

Rain Code Minibang
A minibang is a fandom collab where fic writers and artists work together on a piece. The fic writer anonymously submits their summary of their idea, and the artists may either choose which summary they'd like to draw for. Or, if enough people are okay with it, I'll randomly assign partners. Once chosen, the artist and writer work together to make a oneshot fic + an accompanying illustration.
Character Collage Collab
This is something a little unique. It's inspired by a collaboration ran by milaza_dgs on twitter. It would be a collaborative project where every participant draws one character in the Rain Code cast each. Together, we'll end up having an art piece for every character, which I will arrange together in a pretty collage that links credits to every artist. I'll either be using carrd or brush up on my own CSS skills for the final product.
Prompt Week
Just as it sounds, a prompt week is when the host(s) give out a prompt for each day of the week, and everyone who wishes to participate can create whatever they want to match that prompt. I'll then reblog/retweet it to the main account hosting this prompt week. As for shipping or gen, you can specify in the tags which you would prefer, or if you'd rather it just be both.
DTIYS
DTIYS stands for "Draw This In Your Style." The host shares a base image and anyone who wants to participate can redraw the piece in their own art style. It could be a contest, or it could simply be for fun.

I know I said I'll be posting fic updates here more often but real life and other responsibilities had me pretty busy. I also got pretty obsessed over Metaphor: ReFantazio when it first came out so I decided to make a fic about it! I personally loved how Louis was handled as the main villain and his relationship to Will, and the fic idea stayed in my head for a while before I decided to finally put it into text. I'm not sure when the next updates for my fics would come considering my busy schedule, but I hope who see this would enjoy it nonetheless ^^.
