Clair Obscur: Expedition 33 is a masterpiece

I first saw her in a dream ♡

Pattern recognition can be such a ruiner because the moment I saw the prologue of Expedition 33, and the game laid out the world’s foundation, I immediately recognized that these had to be painted people, they didn’t know they’re inside a painting, we were in a The Matrix/The Sims type of situation.

I initially couldn’t quite guess the other pivotal concept of the game but then I had a friend explaining Umineko to me and then it popped to my head that perhaps Expedition 33 was about people painting/creating OCs to cope with a family tragedy and bam

I still thoroughly enjoy the game tho. It’s one of the best things I’ve played since a while.

I’m still so shooketh there’s an official launch event for Requiem in the city I live in and CAN YOU IMAGINE to go to your first official launch event and IT’S YOUR NUMBER ONE FAVORITE FRANCHISE FOR TWENTY FORKIN EIGHT YEARS.
