Tell Us A Story
This is a Roleplay Blog! (For the purposes of this blog, I am a River Nymph collecting information on what's happening in the world around her)!
I'll probably come up with a backstory later :)

I kind of want to do a Pan! SMP roleplay event. Going to wait until episode 2 to figure out what type though
OPEN RP STARTER:
The champion of Apollo hums, she seems so relaxed compared to any others. The warm sun seeping into their skin and washing across her face. It’s so calm when paired with the gentle tunes they strum from their lyre. The gentle smile seeming so at home across the champions mouth. Chosen by Apollo for a reason they still can’t quite understand no matter how much she says she’s about to.
Drift. What is it they’ve forgotten before appearing in that circle of people. Some of them seeming so familiar yet so…out of reach. She couldn’t pretend to know why. Offering a spin paired with another pluck of strings see’s them leaning down to pick some of the wheat she’s replanted for bread.
Not as productive but…food is better than starving isn’t it? And it’s a good way to help people, looking out for others they’ve found themself close to. She’s welcome to meet others should they simply follow the music.
Having heard the humming, Delera started walking towards the sound. While it wasn't ideal for her to travel so far from the river she resided in, it was a pretty song that was being hummed.
"Hello?"
Drift stops humming, looking up from the wheat and towards the voice. She offers a bright smile, towards their visitor as they lean back to sit near the farm.
“Hi! How are you doing?”
Delera smiles back at her, a bit uncertain about the interaction. But thus far, her interactions with these Mortals (?) has been positive.
"I'm doing alright. Might I ask what song you're humming? It sounds delightful."
“Oh it’s nothing special really…I just find it hard to work in silence so I hum or play music to fill that a lot. But it’s nice to see a friendly face! I’m Drift”
"Regardless, it's a nice tune. I'm Delera! I reside in the river over there."
She hums a bit before grinning at the other.
"It's nice, not being the only one here any more I suppose. How do you like this area so far?"
“It’s nice…I like the sun the most I think, and the view. I think it’s a lot prettier than the mortal plane but I can’t really remember much of that”
Drift offers a kinder smile in return before patting the dirt next to them.
“Sit? There’s no use standing to talk while I’m sat down here”
Delera nods, sitting down next to her. "The feeling of the sun is rather comforting. And it really is... though I can't say I remember much of the mortal plane."
She sighs a bit before looking up. "I've been here for centuries, and while there have been mortals here before, I've found that to be rare."
A pause, surveying the scenery around her. "I do not know what this challenge is about, or your part in it. But I do hope you'll go far."
Humming, she pulls out a pouch full of river water and hands it to Drift. "Here, take this. Should you need me, and I am able to appear, I will come and aid you in whatever it is."

”Oh-” She jumped a bit, not having noticed the stranger until just now. “I- uh, I’m Chloe! Who are you? It seems I’ve been meeting a lot of new people too ehe..” she gave a nervous half-smile.
"I'm Delera. The Nymph of the river nearbye."
She pauses for a moment before continuing.
"I'm curious, it seems there's something to do with champions of the gods? Though I'm also curious as to who you might be the champion of?"
A figure has been following you for a while. Since you came back from the fight with Pearl. While she'd thought she was rather good at watching from afar, studying and surveying the new mortals(?), it seems you've spotted her.

"Oh. Sorry! I was just curious about what was going on around here, especially after that fight."

"Who are you? I've not seen Mortals (?) in this area for centuries..."

she turns towards the sound of water moving.
Oh! Hello! My name is Shelby, it’s nice to meet you! And- yeah… I’m not too sure how ‘mortal’ I am now? But I used to be very much so, so… I guess I know as much as you do about how I got here!
Who are you? I can’t see you, so if you could describe yourself I’d be grateful!!
"Ah, that makes sense, with the blindfold and everything. I'm Delera. A river nymph." She pauses for a minute, unsure of how to describe herself.
"I suppose I'm tan, with a blue-ish tint. Slightly shorter than you, I think. My hair and eyes are brown. And I'm wearing a simple blue peplos down to my ankles with a belt on the waist and pins on the shoulders. And simple sandals..."
"... I'm not wearing it now, but I do also have a cloak with a hood. It just currently resides in my river."
She thinks for a minute before continuing.
"And not sure on your mortality? That's interesting... are you aiming to be a god?"
Oh, no! Moreso looking to be fully alive again, I suppose.
It’s… complicated. But I got brought here with a bunch of people like me- used to be dead- and now we are competing to be fully mortal again! And get a wish.
…I wish I could give that news to someone specific, but I don’t remember how long it’s been since I passed. Or if I could even reach the person in time.
she looks a bit sad, as if it’s the first time she’s pondered this train of thought.
…But regardless, if I’m meant to make it back to the person, I will. That’s how the world works.
her faces goes back to soft joy.

"Interesting."
Delera paused, unsure of how to answer the question asked to her.
"I suppose I'm not a part of the competition. Though that explains your confusion about your mortality I suppose. I'm the nymph of this river. If it dies, I die, but for as long as it lives, I also live..."
She stopped, seemingly struggling to figure what to say. Curious about the competition, but unsure of what to ask.
"Though I must admit to being rather curious about what this competition is. A chance at another life? Being brought out from the underworld? That must be exciting! Though it makes me wonder... why would Hades allow you out of his domain? Although you probably don't know why either, do you?"
Huh… guess I don’t. But Tyche chose me as her champion, and now I have cool powers! I guess it’s a whole ‘toys for the gods’ thing? But if it was meant to happen this way, then it will happen. I was meant to meet these people. Even we were mean to meet like this, heheh!
she giggles, smiling at the nymph.
Its fate, you know? Everything. That’s why I wear the blindfold. What will be, will be- doesn’t matter if I see it or not.
"Oh? Fate huh? Fate's an interesting thing I suppose. Everyone views theirs differently. Very rarely do I see someone so wrapped closely in letting things happen the way you do. Though, then again I haven't seen mortals or champions for over a few centuries now."
Delera replies, before she hums a bit and then opens her mouth yet again to request something of Shelby.
"May you hold out your hand? I wish to hand you something."
PAN!SCOTT HEADCANONS ------
♡ He randomly does cartwheels and flips when he's walking and running around. Very very flexible and performative in everything he does.
♡ In that vein, instead of just crouching like a normal person he has to do a little spin down.
♡ His hair is partially made of clouds itself, so the tips of his hair change colors depending on his emotions. (Dark and stormy when upset, pink when flustered or lovey, a soft yellow when happy, ect.). He barely notices it.
♡ Because of his stature, he played women a lot in plays since they weren't allowed to be in performances in ancient greece.
♡ "The third" is actually just another name he has. He isn't the third "Scott Antonis Mattheos Pagona Pavlos" in his family. His whole name is literally "Scott Antonis Mattheos Pagona Pavlos The Third".

Delera is resting by the river.
She'd disappeared earlier when she'd heard them. Mortals. She hadn't heard mortals in this area for a while. She wondered what was up. Viewing their actions from afar, until she was spotted by you.
