WAIT HOLY SHIT- WHAT IF THE TIME TRAVELOR WAS DREAM?
I was typing up a theory for if c!slimecicle was the time traveler, when I got hit with a massive reminder.
Dream was the first person that DreamXD had ever seen. Thatās why DreamXD took Dreamās face, was because he was the first.
If DreamXD has lived for thousands of years, millions as he claims, then how could Dream be the first person heād ever seen? Easy, because Dream was one of the first in existence. DreamXD made him to be a time traveler, perhaps for some fun, or perhaps to see what would happen. Maybe Dream was different in the past, maybe he was a completely different person.
Dreamās god complex could come from the experiences he had as a time traveler, seeing as perhaps he was more experienced in it. He could literally play his own god by changing time whenever he felt like it. Something doesnāt go his way? He could simply go back and make it his way. When Dream started to forget, DreamXD mightāve seen this as a chance to get rid of Dream, who was currently going through God Complex city.
It could be another reason why Dream finds Attachments as weaknesses. Dream might not remember his time as a time traveler, but he could still remember all the lessons he learned that he engrained in himself. He might not know his reasons to everything, but he knows he needs it.
I honestly think that Dream might be the most viable option as a time traveler where everything went wrong, mostly because he doesnāt seem to have a past. Everyone else has some past aspect to themselves, even Ranboo, legendaryĀ āi donāt remmeber who i amā, but there are inklings of thought past between those green and red eyes. But we know NOTHING about Dream, and I think that might be because he was the time traveler that DreamXD got rid of.
