After nearly 3/4 of a century of life I've learned a few things. I've learned to remember not to forget that just about everything is fixable, so I shouldn't waste the time I've got worrying about shit. I've also learned that religions profit by controlling their followers. Science doesn't lie or care an iota if you exist or not. I've learned that pets are the only love money can buy. That nobody can pee for you. And most important of all, that love is worth it all.
Music of all sorts holds sway over my soul - except Klingon opera; nobody can sway to that. As a result of this I've been an audio consultant, both retail & personal and have a reasonable amount (1K+ is reasonable, right?) of CDs, MDs and other formats. Toss in another few hundred movies of all sorts but especially SciFi, Musicals & Anime.
Fortunately for me my utterly devoted fake husband of almost 30 years is a bibliophile so my love for reading is sated, especially when it comes to murder mysteries.
Working with my hands up until recently has been a joy. Sewing and creating quilts was a delightfuly consuming hobby.
And lastly, I may be old but I ain't crazy. At least not that much.
