Barrage II by Mike Olbinski Via Flickr: August 18th was an incredible night for lightning...so much so that I was able to create multiple stacked images from this same spot over the course of about 20 minutes or so. I posted the first one a few months ago. These are 10 photos merged into one, all taken during a nine-minute span where the lightning was exploding so powerfully that I was losing my mind! Generally don't do a ton of stacks but this storm begged for it. These are the nights I crave for when chasing out in Arizona...when the bolts are extra hard core for whatever reason. Shot out on Sun Valley Parkway on the north side of the White Tanks.
