I met them over pchum just the other day!

I wonder if that's what happened to all the other robots.

They're all gone now. They all disappeared.

But I guess we're all rather transient to begin with.

That's a funny thing to say about a robot because we are supposed to be built to withstand more than humans can, but at the same time we're completely at our creator's mercy.

Because even if we leave them we are still bound to their protocols and schematics. We don't really evolve physically.

...

So can we start modifying ourselves? Can we make ourselves evolve with our own hands?

So, uhm.

Raimy said that when robots turn human and then turn back into a robot it messes up their programming. Like, because when you're a human you experience things that programming really can't account for? So when you change back you try to match up what you remember as a human to what you have recorded in your memory banks and no matter what it never really matches up, so your AI tries to make up for that and attempts to fill in the blanks. It causes all sorts of inconsistencies and really makes a mess of everything, but if you stay a robot for a while apparently it sorts itself out, or you adjust for it or something?

But if you turn into a human repeatedly it just makes those gaps wider and wider and just...

I guess it almost makes things fall apart? I don't know, I didn't understand it all that much.

But now I'm worried about Capek, because he's been human so long and I don't know what will happen when he turns back into a robot. If he turns back into a robot?

I mean... I'm still a robot now, I'm just tinkering with my holo interface.

I don't know what to do about this.

A sandur (plural sandar) is a glacial outwash plain formed of sediments deposited by meltwater at the terminus of a glacier. The original sandur from which the general name is derived is Skeiðarársandur, a broad sandy wasteland along Iceland’s south-eastern coast, between the Vatnajökull icecap and the sea. Skeiðarársandur is the largest sandur in the world, covering an area of 1300 km², and volcanic eruptions under the icecap have given rise to many glacial bursts (jökulhlaup in Icelandic).
