Could I ask for a mango dragon please? 🧡🥭
#34 - 芒果 (mángguǒ / mango) - Legend says, she ate so much mango that she became one! 😱🥭💕
yknow all those posts about like. if someone wrote a book about stuff in our world, it'd be deemed unrealistic and bad writing? like. the weird ass shit . elon musk comes to mind as "badly written" ...im imagining a game where. well yknow games that are like, you're in a funky new world and oh you're new around here so they gotta explain to you all of the logic except its like. a somewhat dull world very much like the real world and the main character is new to it and they're like "oh, right! we should explain this stuff to you!" and- i just think it'd be really fucking funny having a character exposition dump about the Story of Capitalism or like. the concept of Share Holders. just a game about explaining concepts that . yeah we already know about. but out of context or to an outsider sound absolutely inane
"oh! you probably dont even know what the Stock Market is, do you?"

bro do NOT get top surgery in utah
Hey everybody don't listen to this dangerous misinformation top surgery in Utah is not just cheap but it's also really painless! It literally only hurts for a second and You get free spaghetti!
I had to
And a disaster for the discussion of non-anime TV shows in fandom.
"Cool-down episodes" aren't filler.
finally realized what's been cracking me up about the wording of "Bill Cipher has somehow managed to write a book," and it's that I read it with the exact same inflection and urgent tone as I hear "it looks like Bill's gotten... a gun"
"Name a hobby outside of MEDIA CONSUMPTION" is the worst kind of post. It's squarely in that ever-growing genre of post where the point on its face is ideologically meaningless and entirely reliant on an audience's biased negative reaction to a certain popular online buzzword (in this case, "consuming media"). Define "media". Define "consumption". Are reading books, watching movies, and playing video games all inherently inferior hobbies for dumb babies? What about going to an art gallery? What about going to see a play? What makes those "different", if you instinctually answer "Noooo that's not the same!"? Where does creating art, or "media", fall into this equation? Why does your insistence on feeling in some way intellectually and/or morally superior than the peons who use TikTok always fall back on the idea that the only worthwhile, "real" hobbies require a certain level of physical, mental, and/or social ability and reinforce the glorification of manual labor? Why will we never Fucking be free?
frankly i think most of the hate for mcyt fans isn't even about dream anymore i think it's more like the internet version of when you're in middle school and the popular kids make fun of you for being a weird autistic loser to prove that they're one of the cool normal middle schoolers and not a weird autistic loser like you
no because when is the last time any of these people have heard anything positive about dream aside from his closed circle of lunatic fans. instead dream is just an excuse to justify making fun of those Weird Minecraft Autistics lmfao
I’m sorry friends, but “just google it” is no longer viable advice. What are we even telling people to do anymore, go try to google useful info and the first three pages are just ads for products that might be the exact opposite of what the person is trying to find but The Algorithm thinks the words are related enough? And if it’s not ads it’s just sponsored websites filled with listicles, just pages and pages of “TOP FIFTEEN [thing you googled] IMAGINED AS DISNEY PRINCESSES” like… what are we even doing anymore, google? I can no longer use you as shorthand for people doing real and actual helpful research on their own.
Do I want this? Yes. Do I need this? Also yes.
I love the idea that Psyduck is the only starter Pokémon in both Pokémon: Ibuprofen and Pokemon: Tylenol

Pokemon Heritage Post
i keep seeing that post about how frustrating the buff guy -> petite girl type genderbending is, and i wanted to add my two cents regarding the addition of ‘just swap pronouns and don’t change the design’ approach because i think these are two sides of the same coin, as they both fail to really delve into what i think is the most interesting aspect of this design exercise.
the reason i find genderbending to be such a fun and interesting challenge is because, if you actually want to be good at it and put thought into it, you have to really consider the character’s canon gender expression and think about what it means to them and how it reflects in their outward appearance and presentation.
is this male character buff because he likes to work out / be strong, or does he aspire to achieve conventional heteronormative male beauty?
is this female character a tomboy because she likes to express herself in a more masculine way, or is she doing it to fight gender norms?
the answers to those questions should produce very different designs!
this website loves to say that gender is a spectrum, but sometimes i genuinely wonder if people actually understand what that means.
gender expression, much like gender, is also a spectrum, which is why keeping the character exactly the same won’t always work, in the same way that just making the character conventionally attractive won’t always work. but sometimes, a buff dude would actually just be a hot girl. lady bane, however, would 100% look exactly the same.
controversial take:
mascot horror is good because it allows young internet users to engage with the spooky side of fandoms without the content being outright traumatizing.
engaging in horror shouldn't default to kids having to watch things they aren't ready for. they can get spooked without needing to be desensitized to R-rated media.
mascot horror is a safer buffer into becoming a long-time horror fan. it's good for everyone, really.
Yes exactly! I agree 100% BUT my problem with mascot horror, as it exists now, is that it is very clear that many creators of it are not making it for that purpose. They are making it soley to ride the coattails of FNAF and make bank off of dumb kids. My issue with stuff like Poppy Playtime and Garten of Banban is not that it's fluffy colorful kids horror, it's that they're soulless cash grabs.
