decided to do this, so let’s go. Fan made paper system because I’m autistic about him:
paper: system host, is vaguely aware of other alters, but has a hard time communicating with them. Rarely enters headspace, usually just switches into someone else and regains consciousness when he’s back in front. Rarely co-fronts, but when he does its hazy and disorienting.
looseleaf: protector and hates almost everyone else in the system(it’s because they tell him violence isn’t the answer). Tends to punch first and ask questions later. He has a strong sense of justice, and will do anything to keep his head mates safe. Tends to introduce himself as ‘evil paper’ to try and make others afraid of him. Once he deems someone trustworthy and not a threat, he’ll tell them his real name. It’s a big sign of trust for him. He really likes horror movies, because the jerk characters always die first, and he has rather strong feelings towards a vary particular jerk.
Scrap: idiotic island trauma holder and little. He’s terrified of conflict, and tends to prefer staying in headspace. If he’s forced to the front, he’ll stick himself in a small, secluded space like a closet, as he feels most safe hidden. He personifies the feelings the system had while on idiotic island, those being feeling weak and small. He likes being close to people he trusts, whether that be his caretaker in headspace, or OJ while in front. He really likes orcas, because they’re the natural predators of dolphins.
draft: middle. He has no traumatic memories, and basically acts exactly as mephone programmed paper to. He can be shy at times, but is also very excitable. He tends to go on long rants about his interests, and is a big fan of 10 hour video essays. He isn’t allowed to front often because of how different the island has become, and out of fear that someone on the outside will slip up and give him information he’s not supposed to have. He’s permanently around 15-17 at any given time.
origami: knife interject, caretaker. Basically all of the systems positive memories of knife personified. The knife they wish had actually been there for them. He’s had a lot of time to evolve beyond that, though, and has become a very different person. He’s a lot like a fun uncle, and is mainly responsible for keeping the littles entertained. He has an endless supply of energy, and is always in a good and playful mood. The only time he ever gets upset is if someone on the outside hurts the littles, then it’s a struggle between him and everyone else in headspace to stop him from beating someone up. He often co-fronts if any of the littles are fronting so he can watch over them.
to-do list: physical caretaker. She’s in charge of making sure the body is in good condition if no one else is able to front at the moment. She most often fronts after a long day, taking control from whoever had it before, and getting everything needed done. She tends to do the most housework, personal hygiene, and gets the body to bed at a reasonable time. Her cooking famously sucks, because she cares more about nutritional content than flavour. It is not uncommon for her to make ‘dinner’ for her and OJ consisting of raw chopped up lettuce, a few slices of cheese, and unseasoned cold cut chicken. OJ is trying his best to teach her how to actually cook, though she is hesitant to accept help. She is fiercely independent, and thinks the system should rely on the system alone. Above all else, she fears herself or any of her head mates putting their trust in the wrong person, and being left helpless because of it.
paper cup: OJ interject, internal manager. While OJ was unexpectedly away on season 3, the whole system panicked. They didn’t know how to run a hotel on their own, and how could OJ just abandon them like that? The system really needed OJ, so the brain made OJ based on their memories of how he acted and managed the hotel. Paper cup acts basically exactly like the real OJ, but is far more considerate of the system and their needs. He was host for a few months while OJ was away, but settled into the role of internal manager once paper was ready host again. He doesn’t get along with OJ very well, as he blames him for the system’s unhappiness, and the amount of stress they’re under.
obituary: hotel OJ massacre trauma holder and persecuter. He holds onto the memory and guilt of OJ’s death during the season 2 finale, and blames himself for it. He is incredibly anxious and paranoid about the safety of others. He hates himself and everyone else in the system, viewing them all as selfish and unworthy. He is prone to self harm like biting himself and purposely putting himself in dangerous situations so he can ‘atone’. As a result, he is rarely allowed to front, and is often kept on watch in headspace to make sure he’s doing okay.
sketch: little. Sketch is the embodiment of the childhood the system never had. He’s really hyperactive and has no sense of shame in himself. He’s just the pure childhood whimsy the system never had. He is relatively quiet, typically communicating nonverbally or through short sentences. Generally the happiest member of the system, and is rarely fully aware of what’s going on around him, typically being in his own little world.
sheet music: anger holder. Sheet music is the newest member of the system, splitting due to all the repressed negative emotions since IV began. She holds onto all the anger paper doesn’t want to feel, which includes many things, but mostly anger at poppy right now. She’s generally just really angry at everyone, and prefers to be alone. The three people she hates the most are poppy, OJ, and Jack, as she’s angry at all of them for either past or present reasons. She tends to make a lot of dark humour jokes, with the only person who gets her sense of humour being looseleaf. They’ve become fast friends. Everyone else in the system is still trying their best to adjust to her, but haven’t quite figured out how to coexist with her yet.
and that’s it! I don’t have DID or OSDD, but I have done a lot of research for my own books. Please let me know if I got anything wrong, thank you!
