I watched Proteus yesterday and was amazed by Ernst Haeckel’s life and work! It’s pretty astounding given how influential he was that I’ve never heard of him before.

Ernst document these radiolarian by hand...no mod cons or tech. Design wise and work ethic his inspiring. Let’s not forget Ernst’s assistant Nicholai Miklukho-Maklai :)
