When I was a baby lesbian circa 2011, I had a huge crush on my best friend. She’d come over to my house for sleep overs almost every weekend, and a staple of those sleep overs was Jolly Ranchers. I mean we would just consume copious amounts of them. Including the night we had our first kiss, which, you know, was probably the most central event to my queer life. I pretty much swore off of Jolly Ranchers entirely when her and I had our falling out. They were too painful for a while there.

Flash forward to now. I have my first truly obsessive sapphic crush in at least a decade. And when I spend time with her, you know what I crave? Jolly Ranchers. I was with her last night and could all but physically taste a cherry one rolling around my tongue. It was actually pretty jarring when I put the pieces together lmao
