Which are your top 5 kisses?
Oh my. I'm going with the ones gave me more chills, not necessarily the most aesthetically on point.
1. Sander as we know never says sorry. Yes, he writes it down on the drawing, but in rl uses of subterfuges like cheesy lines and kisses to apologize. And here, after Robbe calls him out on his "joke", he looks at him remorseful, pure and raw, and kisses him "sorry". We can see it before the kiss that it makes him uneasy to have bothered Robbe.💔
2. Tenderness overloaded. Robbe knows to give him softness and clinginess when Sander is more insecure. He kisses him so warmly that Sander looses track of his surroundings with that "Yeah". He's so pleased he has found someone who will love him.
3. The soft whining, that Willem DS as Sander thinks nothing more of and keeps the acting. They trust so much each other that it shows in their scenes. It's so domestic and natural. The level of babiness of this scene should be on Guinness Book.
4. The kiss right after Sander strips them of barriers feels so raw. The way Robbe is giving himself to him (and im not talking of something is physical). The way Robbe all but squirms and has nothing to hold on (though soon Sander's hand will give him leverage). However, this kiss is responsible for part of the fire in the Amazon Forest. 🌡
5. So passionate, so synchronized with the song, so orange, so full of this orangeness that is poetic cinema. This is simply the most passionate reunion of them all. And my favorite clip.
