She lifted her hands and twirled a bit exposing she had no weapon. “I’m weapons free. See?  Besides..h-holding a gun terrifies me…" a small shiver traveled up her spine.

Paranois circled clockwise around the turret, eyes narrowing in certain places as he looked her over in analysis. He then briefly paused before circling around her again counter-clockwise to see if he missed anything. "Let's pretend for a brief second that I believe you," he said lowly before pointing a finger - goodness, it was so weird to have fingers - at Chibi.
"What makes you so different from the other turrets, hm? What makes you different from the murderous turrets whose only purpose is to kill helpless cores like me?!"

The small turret jumped at the android’s outburst. “W-Wha? W-Wait! C-Calm down! I’m not g-going to hurt you…." Mantis men? She remembered Cave Johnson talk about them before…but that was years ago.  "P-Please!! I’m n-not taking you anywhere…M-My name’s Chibi…I-I’m one of A-Aperture’s first prototypes for the turret…d-don’t worry, I don’t shoot at anyone…Honest."
Paranoia glared at the turret suspiciously. Never trust the turrets, that's what he always said! They're untrustworthy words in their untrustworthy bodies in this untrustworthy life.
"And why should I believe you? The turrets have done nothing but try to kill me since I was created! You are not exception! You're going to experiment on me and use evil torture weapons of doom!
The Turrets want to be your friends.
No they don't! If they want to be my friends, they're lying! It's a trick, a trap! The only reason why they'd want to be my friends is to capture me in a weighted storage cube and feed me to the mantis men and betray me!

The… scientists? I was under the impression that most, if not all, of them were long dead. And, as much as I may dislike admitting it, She does have such power over cores. I cannot imagine what other items she might wager in such a game, and am glad that I was not chosen. Though, it would make more sense that she chose a defective core.
You do seem very paranoid, as well. You would do well to calm, as suggested, and think harder about what you are saying.

That's what they want you to think! They make you think they're dead, but I know the truth! In reality they're in an eco-pod a mile underground where they are in self-sufficient living quarters and plot to take over the universe and kill us all once the apocalypse is over!

I… doubt that the mantis men are intelligent enough to attempt to make me think much of anything. The turrets would likely kill the mantis men regardless of any attempts or plans they may be planning. And… that one makes little to no sense.
‘They’ are not doing anything, nor are they after anyone. Whoever ‘they’ are. I am unsure as to why you have been declared as defective, though I can certainly guess, and know for a fact that I would not be called as such.

They, them! The scientists! And her. She is the one out to kill us all. She- she tried to set me as bounty for a poker game because I knew too much, but no, she didn't get rid of me that easily! I doubt the mantis men would listen to me, even if I wanted to sic them on anyone. They seem more interested in cats. The same goes for turrets, of which I do now know any, and doubt that they are inherently evil.
You need only to calm yourself.
That's what they WANT you to think! Ha! They've fooled you, but they're not going to fool me! I know, I KNOW the secrets that they hold in their secret lairs with their secret turrets planning to secretly kill us all! The same way I know that it was actually the mantis men who killed John F.
