eyeless jack/jack nyras x reader — relationship headcanons 💉
wanted to make some regular headcanons since jack has been my muse since i was a little proxy..

— jack cannot speak at all. he communicates distress, anger, sadness, and such which growls and hisses. however, when communicating with fellow proxies and such.. he uses ASL. if you don’t know sign language, he’ll teach you a few hand signs so you can understand him. after a while during your relationship, you can understand him no problem. he’s a good teacher.
— jack is more of a listener when in a relationship. he actually likes listening to you talk a lot and just sits there quietly when you’re rambling about some interest you have. it may seem he’s ignoring you, but he’s taking everything in. one day, he’ll just gift you something that’s related to that interest. you like gemstones? amethyst in a small container. you like cats? wow, random kitty in a gift basket. his love language is listening and gift-giving really.
— jack is arguably the least toxic creep you can be in a relationship with. he’s mindful of your emotions, uses his medical knowledge to heal you when you’re hurt, and respects your opinions. during arguments, he gives you space and waits until you’re ready to talk. but that doesn’t mean he doesn’t have his cons.. he’s really possessive. he’ll be on edge when the other creeps leer at you when they’re in his medical room. he’ll snarl a bit if jeff makes a snarky comment. however, jack will never act on his urges because he understands that you wouldn’t do that to him. leave him for someone else. though, you’ll find him randomly rubbing his chin onto your clothes.. then you smell weird.
— jack acts like a black cat. or just a cat in general. he has boundaries and you do, too. in a new relationship with you, his walls are still up. if he doesn’t want kisses right now, he’ll just turn his head away. cuddles later? he’ll let you know by gently signing to you, not now. when he wants to, he’ll sign for your permission to cuddle. later on when he starts getting comfortable, he’ll start letting you get away with kisses and surprise hugs. he also randomly bites you.. like he could be rubbing his cheek against your hand and then.. chomp. yeah, like a cat.
— jack makes money by organ dealing and taking care of the other creeps. sometimes, there’s parts of a body he doesn’t like eating so he just sells them. he gives the parts to ben who then finds a buyer on the deep web. jack gets the money once the buyer receives the parts. by taking care of the other creeps, there’s usually some injuries that require surgery and they can’t go to an actual hospital. he does it for them and then they pay him with some cash from their own ways of getting bucks. jack likes giving you money and gets sad when you insist that it’s fine.. he wants to see you happy so he actually gives you an allowance.
— jack tried getting you to eat a kidney once.. you obviously didn’t like it much to his disappointment. so he gives you grocery money so you can buy your own meals. he doesn’t exactly eat human food, but licked whipped cream from your fingers once out of curiosity. he doesn’t eat anything you make, though. however, if you cooked his stored organs in the freezer, he’ll be delighted to have some as a gourmet dinner for once!
— he never really leaves the cabin unless it’s for hunting or discussing things with other proxies. so you’ll always find him in his own medical room just rearranging things quietly while waiting for a patient to show up. or sometimes assorting his organ meat into bags and putting them into the freezer. or just.. sleeping. jack doesn’t like doing crazy things. he hates loud noises and parties due to his heightened hearing. when you came along, he found himself watching movies and shows you liked. he doesn’t understand the appeal and always points out the obvious. he’ll sign, “..i don’t get it. the man is the killer why can they not tell. stupid humans.”
