Intro post
DISCLAIMER: i do not use tumblr anymore. sometimes, rarely, i might post something. but i’ve decided that tumblr isn’t really for me. it felt draining to post here. and its not that i was upset at not getting much attention on my posts or anything, i expected that. but the continuous likes on my art posts that just felt like nothing more than “i saw this” really didn’t make me feel good. i’d hop onto tumblr, see a notification or a couple, get excited, only for it to be “i saw this.” i put in every post, telling people not to like the post if thats the only way they’re going to interact with it, i rephrased that sentence i copy and pasted to each post several times to be more clear, but it never worked. even just a reblog with no comments or anything felt good because someone was spreading my art to other people and they might want to comment on it, or spread it EVEN further. and maybe there’s a way to turn off likes that i didnt see, but i can’t imagine going back to tumblr because i just feel so worn out from it. so i’d really rather not. i hope anyone who did like my things here or me in general understands. but i do post a lot on quotev despite the website being kinda dead, because i enjoy it there, and there’s people i love chatting with there. so if you miss my posts, i can encourage you over there. but that’s all really. goodbye.
