Summary:

It's not often that Metal finds themself captured by the Resistance, but it's happened again.

What isn't often is being interrogated by Shadow the Hedgehog, someone who they've known for some time. Their relationship is not particularly complex, but it's not easily defined either. Whatever they have with him, the Doctor doesn't like it.

Yet, Shadow's convinced they can change. Convinced they can be like him.

Their programming rejects the idea outright, but something deep in their circuits, something deep within them, tells them otherwise.
