I made a cross stitch animation of a bunny
having aspirations again after not feeling anything towards living or the future is wild. On one hand it's fucking incredible and I feel like there's a reason to get up finally that doesn't have to do with someone else, just me and my own desire to make this thing happen. But conversely, it's been so long since I felt any kind of intrinsic motivation that it also feels kind of like a 24/7 heart attack. Different from mania, for sure, more of a sustainable, livable feeling. But still like I can feel my heartbeat behind my eyes and it's making my chest tighten into a tendon ball behind my sternum. It's kind of nauseating, but I dont want to get annoyed or complacent and slip off the path. Like I honestly give a shit about this project and think it could really be something for my community and my own development as an artist... so I don't want to scare myself off? Idk. I think eventually I'll just get used to the feeling, but for now it's making my chest hurt.
Being such a happy puppy to the point you fucking break your tail too many times from wagging it so much so you get it cut off and taxidermy it
Made myself a t-shirt for one of my favourite directors. I drew the letters on with a syringe full of screen ink for that uneven look (and to avoid cutting a stencil).

Edo-period, Japan. These illustrations are from a book by Bunken Kagami (1755-1819) that documents the dissection of a body belonging to a female criminal executed in 1800.
