just watched the end of hermitcraft season 8 ueeheeheehehee favorite season so far..... tingles the brain in many ways.....
i don't really have the full context to everything since i haven't looked thru the rest of the povs besides mostly boatem, but ohhh ohhhh
midway through i was wondering if, with all the stuff that the octagon pulled that was lowkey crazy, this season maayyyybe had some romantic themes surfacing idk. something something playing nature with misplaced ambition will have major consequences that nature herself will deliver. if the moon includes nature ig.
also the builds and attitude around the server were so silly to see because it was like watching the moments leading up to the apocalypse. okay well it was exactly that. but more like, it was interesting to see most people kind of go "oh, moon's big. anyways gotta work on the base" and stuff. like dwelling on it wasn't as important or productive as their own day-to-day. and when things got worse like the shaking, the gravity, etc they still kinda tried to hang on to that normalcy. not commenting on the tremors after a while, getting used to roaming around with the lack of gravity. of course it started getting to be a big deal eventually, but it was accepted as just something that happened to be going on after it started.
and the way everybody went about the end of the world RAAH, soon currency wasn't that essential, and seeing the builds get torn apart ig made them feel more maleable idk how to describe it. from what i can gather (since being so fr i'm very new here and only have s7 to go off of), most things have been built for whatever reasons, but leaving a mark on the world is usually one of those reasons. they can be remodeled, altered slightly, messed with, but they've made their existence known to that world. seeing the progress of the season kind of fall apart into the sky felt like nothing was really safe nor secure, and for once it seemed like these builds were more of an extension of the players rather than the world. i mean they're always an extension of both, but this time the scale tipped towards one side methinks...
also i know it was like, a simulation the whole time and stuff, but shhhhhh...... shhhhhhhhh...... the subconscious is a powerful thing.... real or not, it was still experienced and responded to..... (also hoping in some universe the boatem void podcast is a thing)
