Hustle and bustle-{closed}
“Yes, I am as well. The lack of sound to guide me as of late is…disturbing to say the least. Perhaps we should consider a day beyond the castle walls. If I may be so forward as to ask….would you mind if I accompanied you?”
A day outside sounded perfect, and Invi had had enough of sinking into the background as a silent observer. For just today, she would put her master’s special role assigned to her on hold if it meant feeling more at ease when she returned to it later.
“The apprentices have been rather hard at work. Perhaps a visit to them would do us some good.
Then again, she had already visited her union quite a few times recently. It wouldn’t do good to get too attached. Sadly in many ways it was too late for that, but Invi would still try to give them their freedom and chances to make mistakes and fix them on their own.
“Though I do care for my own apprentices I believe they could certainly use a new set of direction from time to time. Perhaps…..just for the day we could visit the apprentices of each other’s union. The master never said that an occasional change in union administration was frowned upon. Of course only if you are up to the idea Gulla.”
Swapping unions for a day? This struck Gula as a bad idea, and even though she said the occasional change in administration wasn't frowned upon, he still had to wonder. Rationality kicked in and caused him to keep his doubts. He was suspicious that something like this most certainly went under an umbrella of things they shouldn't do. "But Invi, isn't that going against keeping our unions separate? If we trade places, even for a day, is that truly keeping them separate?"
