Kneeling down he picked up his pen and inspected it in less than a moment. “Yep its fine.See.” He flashed it towards her shoulder and a small red light flashed. “Its a laser pointer as well, so its my favorite.” He gave a small chuckle. “Now that I think about it I sound like a complete nerd talking about pens with a nice lady like yourself present.”

"Great, woulda felt bad if I'd ruined it," she shrugged. "A laser pointer?" she tilted her head curiously. "I don't think I've ever seen one of those. Is it a muggle thing?" she questioned. "It's not nerdy, it's cute. You've got t'enjoy the little things," she smiled sweetly, offering a comforting smile. "And I'm not a big deal, the pens probably more important."
