Why don't you like LPS Popular Remake?
I personally don't think it's an attempt to replace the original, it's different enough to be taken as a tribute.
And Brooke and Savannah are different characters from the ogs, so the Brovannah isn't the same either.
It's completely fair if you still don't like it, dw, I'm just curious.
i don’t dislike lps popular remake because i have specific qualms with its content, i’ve actually never seen it 😅 my posts about the remake are jokes referencing sophie’s beef with it, and i tend to take her side based on what i know about the situation.
i cant find screenshots or the original comments of sophie saying it, maybe because theyve been deleted since the remake was taken down, but off the top of my head i remember her saying she felt she was being stolen from. she wasn’t happy that an adult was continuing her series in a way that confuses viewers about which storyline is “real” and which is a remake, causing people to give views to the remake instead of sophie’s work. this all came up when she announced her return to lpstube because what made the remake especially problematic was that sophie had always intended to finish lps popular eventually but struggled to because of her accident.
i’ll take your word for it that the remake’s brooke and savannnah are different characters, but whether that means they have different last names or slightly altered personalities it just isnt enough to separate them from brooke hayes and savannah reed in my opinion. they literally exist in a series titled “lps popular remake.”
