H&M has a nice range of beauty cosmetics selection however I really did not see a lot of reviews about it. I have a liquid eyeliner from H&M which is.. Well that one is for another post. So this is the Cream Lipstick in the shade ‘So Cocoa’. The price is OK, it’s $9.99. The formula is very creamy for sure, also pigmented and the packaging is soo cute, yet looks elegant. But the best part is - THE SCENT! Holy moly! Smells like cocoa! I could just sit and smell it for hours. I don’t wear this lipstick because I’d rather go for nudes and everyday shades but for special occasions it’s perfect.
Colourpop’s ‘Yes, Please’ have been sold out like 5-6 times and it’s not that surprising. If you’re dreaming about the Natasha Denona Sunset Palette or you just simply adore the warm shades that remind you of sunrise/sunset, then this palette is P-E-R-F-E-C-T for you. Very blendable, easy to use, the pigmentation is on point and probably this is my favourite Colourpop pressed eyeshadow palette so far. Because I’m sure they’re on the road to make a lot-lot more (yes they actually came out with a new palette called ‘I Think I Love You’ and of course I can’t wait for the postman to ring the bell). My favourite shades in the palette are: Mischief (matte yellow), Chauffer (duochrome orange), Louie (metallic red duochrome), Note To Self (matte warm caramel). The drawbacks are that it’s impossible to keep the palette clean and that the shades are smaller than a regular pressed powder eyeshadow. If I had to rate this palette I would give it 10/10 because of the price, the pigmentation, the colour selection... And of course it’s cruelty free.
Review on some Colourpop products
Hello everyone! *takes a sip of her coffee* I showed in the previous post some Colourpop products and I thought I would share my opinion about ‘em. It was my first Colourpop order so I was very excited ‘cause I’ve read a lot of good reviews about the company before. I live in Europe so my mind was blown when I saw the total price (I mean the TAX... it’s just awful) but it didn’t stop me from ordering much more product later. Firstly the Super Shock Shadow in the shade ‘Paradox’: I was kinda expecting a reddish undertone (as it was described as a ‘burgundy red’) however it’s more like a pinkish shade. I don’t know if it’s just me but it’s a lil’ bit hard to work with and to blend it nicely. All in all, I like this eyeshadow although I expected something else. However the ‘Donna’ eyeshadow is really insane. Amazing pigmentation and perfect for Autumn or the Holiday season.’Frick ‘n Frack’ is still one of my favourite lipstick from Colourpop. Beautiful shade and long-lasting in a satin finish. Perfect. So the lip product I was the most excited for is the ‘Love Bug’ Ultra Matte Lip and unfortunately it disappointed me. After I applied it, it became patchy and... gross I would say. The colour is so beautiful but it made my lips dry. I saw that many people liked this liquid lipstick so I believe they’ve changed the formula since then. ‘Persuede Me’ is a lip kit which contains 6 lippiestix. ‘Hotline’ is my favourite of all of them. It’s a peachy shade, really good for everyday use. ‘Upside Down’ is the lightest shade in the bundle, very nude, like.. too nude for my skin tone. ‘Daydream’ looks much lighter on the website than in person. On me it looks like I just came from a Vampire show or something. ‘Ziggie’ is the same but with more reddish undertone. ‘Goldie’ just like the CP’s website says is a rich brick red, I would use this for parties, holidays and other special events. And last but not least, ‘Le Freak’ which is somehow one of my favourite lippiestix however I’ve never used it, BUT I can see myself reaching for this on Halloween with a vampy or something scary look. The Super Shock Highlighter in the shade ‘Wisp’ in my opinion is like.. highlighter goals. It looked amazing on me even when I had no tan (my skin tone is light - and medium in the summer time). You might think it’s too gold at first but when you blend it, it just looks SO nice with the tiny pearls in it. I definitely recommend you to try this and all of the beautiful products from Colourpop.
