Promoting diversity of all kinds is extremely important to us, here at Paris RP. We want to make sure that we foster an environment of diverse characters! However, we realize that there is always more to learn in terms of doing so in the most accurate and respectful way possible. As our group grows, we want to have open conversations about what each of us is doing to contribute to that kind of environment and, when needed, how we can do better. None of this is meant to come across like we, the admins, are experts or know everything about promoting diversity. Rather, we want to learn and grow along with our members. So if we reach out to you about an element of your character’s background or how they are portrayed, it is in no way an attack. We simply want to open up the conversation with you and hear your thought process is in regards to your portrayals. We hope that our members approach playing their characters with respect, as well as a willingness to learn and grow more as well! To us, the most important part of promoting diversity, is to encourage proper research!
