NYFW Spring 2014: Soo Joo Park’s Disposable Camera Diary

Though I love the perfectly-filtered lens of Instagram and the onslaught of digital images that come from NYFW, I found myself feeling nostalgic this season. This past summer, I rediscovered my love of disposable cameras. The prints have a quality about them that no filter, pre-setting or Photoshop magician can recreate. So, as fashion week rolled around, I gave three cameras to three people. Our first photographer is one of our favorite models, Soo Joo Park. You might recognize her from the pages of Lucky, street style snapshots and lots of other magazines out there. Take a look at her diary that includes shots from backstage, runway shows and, of course, parties. Soo Joo definitely has a career in modeling, but she could clearly easily have one in photography, too.
