Cordelia barely didnât see him. Truth was, she wasnât looking for him, or for anyone, so her eyes didnât pick up on the familiar boy at first. She was already a few steps passed him when her brain made the connection. Usually, she wouldâve probably just continued and not bother talking to him, but she was bored, and needed some distraction. Doing an 180, she went back and planted herself right in front of him. âWow, you must really love that book, big bro.â She said after a moment, tempted to knock the book down, but that would just be rude, and she wasnât that mean.
Alec lowered the book when he heard her speak, sighing as he realized he had been holding the book upside down, not like she would have really noticed. âHello Cordelia,â he said with a slight smile, feeling as he couldnât bring himself to be so cheerful around her knowing what he knew. âItâs Hamlet, I enjoy it for obvious reasons, but how are you? I wasnât hiding from you or anything.â
