There was something different that made Rae different from pretty much everyone else in the world. They saw things as simple, and Rae couldn’t wrap her head around it. She bit on her lip, moving herself so her legs were pulled to his chest. “I don’t think attraction is every simple.” She looks at Parker with a simplistic expression. “It’s complicated, and sometimes, in a time when you’re very unsure of the things your body is telling you, something foreign to you, you can’t help but get worried. It’s not bad, it’s just life.”
Parker let herself take another hit, coughing a bit this time and sniffing before giving Rae a questioning look. She let herself lean back and hold herself up with her hands on the mattress, their conversation going nowhere Parker didn’t know it would- or could. “Follow your instincts.” Parker shrugged as best as she could in her position. “They’re instincts for a reason. If you over think it you’re just stressing yourself out.”
