Gardening day.

The heat felt somehow worse, and the air was feeling dense. I think there may be a storm coming.

I was bored, so I designed and gave myself a tattoo. Really happy how it turned out!

(I have sterile professional equipment at home. Don't do this if you don't have experience and proper gear!)

Most of the day, I just hung out with the kittens. Or well, in the afternoon, we had guests over, but they, too, just hung out with the kittens most of their visit.

Breakfast.

Sliced up some cinnamon buns and put them into a toaster. I can't believe how I haven't thought of that earlier!

Entertained myself by making some mocktails.

Edit: Someone asked me for the recipe so here it is:

• Take a handfull of Fazer Vihreät Kuulat -marmalade balls (or other pear flavored marmalades)

• Let those sit in grenadine syrup for an indefinite period of time.

• Put the marmalades in a freezer for an indefinite period of time.

• Place the frozen marmalades in a cocktail glass and pour over some pear flavored sparkling water.

Another hot day. Perfect weather to just lay in the shade.

Did some light chores, too.

Very hot day here, over 30°C.

I can't go swimming because of the surgical wounds, so while my fiancée swam, I sat on the shore and photographed freshwater snails.

Home sweet home.

They already discharged me from the hospital as I was doing well. It was a painful 4 hour taxi drive back home, but in the end, I'm happy I didn't have to stay another night.

Still alive!

The wounds are not even that painful, but during the surgery, they filled my abdomen with carbon dioxide to get more space to work (it was an endoscopic procedure). And boy, does my whole stomach hurt now like it was still full of gas. Not the worst pain I've had, but I really don't feel like eating anything even though I'm quite hungry.

I will stay in the hospital for a few days.

I'll have surgery tomorrow. Most of today I spent travelling because the hospital is in another city.

We took our friend to a room escape game as a late birthday gift.

He was sure surprised (no wonder because who would expect to get a gift a few months after the birthday...)

For once, I actually went out on Friday night. Had a good time and a few drinks and tried a smash burger for the first time.

I was supposed to go see the circus, but I got a migraine.

Quite hot summer day.

Had a friend over to help us clean the garage. There was a lot of junk left behind by the previous residents. But we found some useful and cool things too, like this huge moose antler.
