एक पल चुप हो कर सुनते हैं,

ये दुनिया कितनी खूबसूरती से,

अपने गीत गाती है,

चलो,

थोड़ा खुश हो लेते हैं,

झूठमूठ का ही सही,

और देखते हैं कि ये दुनिया,

क्या हमारी मुस्कुराहटों में शामिल हो पाती है,

चलो,

घूम कर आते हैं कहीं,

बस यूँ ही अनजान रास्तों पर,

कि क्या पता कौन सा नया सपना,

हमारा इंतजार कर रहा होगा,

कि चलो,

अब सब कुछ कह देते हैं,

मनगढ़ंत ही सही,

कि बहुत साल हो गए,

खुद को अपनी कहानियां सुनाते हुए,

और चलो,

अब जरा वक्त सा बहते हैं,

कि बहुत समय बाद,

इस खामोशी से मिले हैं....!!

कहीं किसी खूबसूरत झील के किनारे मिलूंगा तुम्हें,

झीलों का शहर उदयपुर की,

गणगौर घाट किनारे रिमझिम बूँदों के नीचे,

राजस्थानी लोक धुन पर,

शायद कोई नई कविता लिखता हुए,

तुम आना,

उसी कविता को पढ़ने,

रिमझिम बारिश में बहती हवाओं के साथ,

कागज़ कि नाव बना,

मैं बहा ढुंगा

वो बहती हुई फिर नई नदी में,

किसी दिन तुम्हारे किनारे आ रुकेगी,

और शायद शब्द सारे धुल गए हों तब तक,

पर तुम आना,

मेरे वो कोरे खयाल पढ़ने

उदयपुर की किसी बरसाती सुबह में,

गणगौर घाट किनारे रिमझिम बूँदों के नीचे....!!

In all the things of nature, there is something of marvelous. Hence one should always stay close to nature as it is one of the marvelous gifts, human beings can ever receive. Saheliyon Ki Bari also known as the Garden of Maidens, is one such marvel of nature created by man for a woman. In Indian history, women find little or no significant place, but things are different when we turn to the history of Mewar Kingdom of Udaipur. Saheliyon Ki Bari is one of the rare areas in the history of India, where a particular place is built for women. The Saheliyon Ki Bari is embellished with several fountains in the four water pools along with chiseled kiosks, and the elephants made up of marble. Out of many, the most noted features of the garden are the bird fountains and lotus pools. The moment you enter the garden, you can witness flowerbeds, lush green lawns and marble pavilions, which creates a pleasing ambiance....!!

The City Palace of Udaipur is an architectural marvel that offers a fascinating journey through history and culture. From intricate carvings to stunning courtyards, every corner oozes grandeur and charm. The panoramic views of Pichola Lake from its balconies are simply breathtaking. The museum inside the palace is a treasure trove of artifacts that showcase the lavish lifestyle of the erstwhile royals.

The City Palace towers over Lake Pichola. The balconies, cupolas, and towers of the palace give a wonderful view of the lake and the surrounding city. This complex actually consists of four major and several minor palaces that collectively form the magnificent City Palace. The main part of the palace is now preserved as a museum displaying artifacts.

Beautiful View of PHOOL MAHAL..

Going by the name, the Phool Mahal or Flower Hall is the most exorbitant of all the halls in the Maharangarh Fort. This beautiful chamber is said to be the pleasure dome for the Maharajas. The gold used for constructing the Mahal came from Ahmedabad, Gujarat....!!

Aftet visiting this heritage site, I was reading classification of hotels by IHM Bhubaneswar. First time I noticed about heritage hotel during visit to Jaipur, Rajasthan. Best example of heritage hotel is Rajasthan. Every nook and corner of Rajasthan is a vibrant history book, each page and chapter of which is filled with glorious tales of the erstwhile Rajputana. And, when it comes to relive the tales of kings and queens, brave warriors and grandeur with a stay at one of the heritage hotels in Rajasthan. Now several royal forts, havelis, and holiday homes all around the country are converted into hotels and resorts which are a good sign to save the forts. These Heritage hotels are properties set in small forts, palaces, or havelis, the mansions of erstwhile royal and aristocratic families. They have added a new dimension to cultural tourism. In a heritage hotel, a visitor is offered rooms that have their own history, is served traditional cuisine toned down to the requirements of international palates, is entertained by folk artistes, can participates in activities that allow a glimpse into the heritage of the region, and can bask in an atmosphere that lives and breathes of the past. Now over time these accommodation options have gained in popularity and slowly become some of the best haunts for luxury and history seekers.
