Caroline looks up at the monitor in confusion. Then she looks up in curiosity to the AI,”I..don’t understand…What exactly is this…?” She looks back at the screen to the other robot,”And who is that?” She points at the screen when GLaDOS appears. She finishes off her drink, setting it to the side of her. And she tries to make sense of this video being shown to her.
“That is… GLaDOS…..” He said. He obvious was not pleased, and seemed to loathe this robot. “… She controls the entire facility. Luckily, not for much longer….” He grinned, anticipation and determination was obvious.
“I can tell you don’t like her very much….are you planning on killing her?” Caroline looked worried a bit to this computer,”What did she ever do to you?” She said, still trying to make clear of things going on. So far she is nowhere close to finding out what’s really going on.
He grimaced. “I was to be the original one to control this facility. I had big plans….” He chuckled, turning away. “But then…. For the humans….” He looked towards her, his rates soon one of hate. “It was too big for them…”
She backed up more against the wall looking up at him with a terrified expression,”T-That’s awful…” She whispered to the AI, her heart rate picked up and she tried to hide her fear of him, but to no avail.
"Frightened? I understand. It is typical of a human." He chuckled lightly. "But don't worry, soon I will get pass GLaDOS's defenses, and take the facility back..."

“I would love to Pas!” She smiled to the machine. “Where exactly am I going though?” She asks him with a nervous laugh, not wanting to get lost in such an enormous place like this. And she giggles when he mentions ‘science’.”You almost sound like my boss, he’s always up for science and such, hehe!”
The AI looked away for a second, thinking.“……indeed…” he shook a little. “And you won’t be going anywhere… Just yet miss Caroline. You shall first need to find out about your future up to now.” He looked towards a screen in the room. He closed his optic for a second, and it came to a video. “Are you ready miss Caroline?”
She looks over at the giant screen, quite afraid of what exactly she was going to watch. She just hopes that nothing bad happens to her or her employer. Her voice wavers a bit when she speaks.”S-Sure…I think I am…” She takes a few more sips of her water, hoping that maybe it would help her feel better. It didn’t.
He nodded. Soon, the screen flicked on to the activation of GLaDOS. He began to think, and the screen began to show everything that had conspired, including the recent events of chell’s awakening, wheatley’s betrayal, and GLaDOS’s realization, but not once was Caroline mentioned.

The AI swung in his chamber, slightly bored. Until he managed to hack past GLaDOS’s firewalls, he couldn’t do much. During this time, he had thought up ideas. New testing apparatus, universal domination, but the one that intrigued him the most was time travel. In a few days of complex science, he…
A young woman by the name of Caroline happened to be in the vicinity of said elevator after being told by her employer to keep tabs on everything, she walks deeper through the area until she bumps into some kind of switch. She curiously looks at carefully. Anticipating whether or not she should press the button, as much as she wants to, she’s afraid that something bad could happen to her, but she shrugs it off and steps into the strange elevator and presses the button.
The elevator starts to proceed downwards, as if everything was normal. Suddenly, the outside of the elevator seemed to fast forwards, passing by at extremely high speeds. The elevator began to descend faster. Nothing outside was now visible, just a blur. Soon it began to slow down, and enter into a large, dimly lot chamber. The doors opened, and a large, red optic was glaring at the woman. With a smirk.
Caroline backed up against the back of the elevator, and closing her eyes a bit to keep her from feeling dizzy along the ride, and when she finally feels the machine stop, she opened her eyes. As soon as she saw the big, red optic smirk down at her she got a worried look on her face, wondering where the hell she was.
“Welcome to Aperture Laboratories…. About two hundred years in the future. You have just been through a time traveling test. We thank you for your co-operation, miss….?” The AI leaned forward, examining her. He swore he had seen her before, but shrugged it off. Still, it would be nice to find out who was the first test subject for the device for recording the data. All for science of course.
Caroline walks up closer,”The name’s Caroline…” She stutters to the AI and looks around at the machinery in awe and looks back into it’s optic.”Where am I?” Caroline asks the large computer hanging down from the ceiling. And for some reason she feels like she’s heard that voice before, but it sounds so different to her she could not tell. And then when she noticed it creeped closer she stepped back nervously.
“Caro….line?” The AI said, tilting his orb body. He searched across his files, looking for Caroline’s files. He was sure he heard that name before, but couldn’t remember. He found the files, but there was a block on them. “Strange… Your files are blocked.” He shook his body. “You are at the very bottom of Aperture, two hundreds years in the future, inside my personal chamber, miss Caroline.”
Caroling blinks in shock at the giant AI,”Who are you then?” She asks curiously. And wondered why this massive computer needed to look at her profiles anyways and was getting more freaked out by the second,”And what happened to Mr. Johnson?” She asked hoping that he was safe and sound in the past according to the AI.
“Cave Johnson?” He felt something in him snap, but his sensors blocked it out. He scanned his files. “I have no-fffffff- files on C-C-C-Cave Joooohhhnnnnssssoooonnn…..” The AI’s voice fizzled out, then everything shutdown. In exactly ten seconds, he came back on, and looked at Caroline with curiousity. “What just happened?”
She watched in shock as the poor AI fizzed and turned off, she almost made a run for it until she saw him turn back on. And she looks up at it as if it was crazy,”I don’t know! Your system fizzled out for some reason!” She then thought for a moment,” It’s probably because your located all the way at the bottom of Aperture, I guess.”
“Yes…. While SHE has access to the reactor for her power source, I only have two small generators.” He said in dismay. He shook his head. “Anyway, who am I? I am P.A. S. C.a T. S. Prototype Assistant Super Computer and Testing Substitute. By protocol I need to investigate an unknown employer.”
“And that unknown employer would be what exactly?” She walks completely outside of the elevator, staring at the large optic, looking down at her curiously. “So is there a nickname I can call you? That’s quite a mouthful of a name you have too.” She giggles at the AI. She looks around the area a bit more now that she was standing completely outside of the time traveling elevator.
“Nickname? PASCaTS…. Pas… I guess… As for the unknown employer, that would be you miss Caroline—” He reared back a bit, colony to the side a little as she giggles. “Um… What was that noise?” He asked, curious. He had never heard such a noise before. He decided to find out about it. For science.
Caroline blinks a bit in shock,”You have never heard of a laugh before?” She asks a little bit in shock.”It’s the noise humans making when in humor about something or someone!” Caroline smiles and ends up laughing again. Thinking to herself, He’s not as bad as he appears to be I guess, and she moves to lean against the door of the elevator.
“I… See. Laughter.” He shook a little. He was acting a bit strange around this woman. Nicer. That wasn’t like him at all. He usually sent potential test subject right off to the testing track. He examined her. “Well then, back to business. I need to confirm your… Position in aperture since I do not have the necessary data. Please, tell me about you and aperture….”
She pouts but explains,”Well, I am the secretary of Cave Johnson, who is the CEO of Aperture.” She smiles brightly,”I’m very honored and proud to be by his side and work with him and make science!” She let out a tiny laugh.”I just file and do chores around the office, and bring him coffee and help come up with ideas for tests and experiments in the future.” She explains to the confused looking AI.
He turned away from her, thinking to himself. “Cave, Cave, Cave….. I swear I know him…. But how? I have record of his name in my data banks….” He turned back to Caroline. “I am sorry for the… Rudeness, miss Caroline. Is there something you would like while I… Sort things out?”
She nods,”It’s okay, and I think I’m doing quite fine right now, but…do you happen to have a water source somewhere? I’m a little thirsty.” She smiles up at the machine again. Wondering why the AI was apologizing, he hadn’t done anything wrong, and he certainly wasn’t being rude about it either.
“Water… If you wish….” A small pipe came down from the ceiling and a small cup popped from the end, and the pipe filled it with water. A claw from PASCaTS took the cup and gave it to her. “Will this suffice, miss Caroline?”
She takes the cup gleefully and takes a sip, humming in content.”Yes it will. Thank you very much!” She smiled to Pas. And she takes a few more sips, and sits down on the floor without spilling the water.
“Well, miss Caroline, while I go over my processors, would you like to take a glimpse into the future. The future of aperture?” He asks, curious. “It would all be for the sake of science, of course.”

You shall first need to find out about your future up to now." He looked towards a screen in the room. He closed his optic for a second, and it came to a video. "Are you ready miss Caroline?"
Morning.
I have a migraine… Nice. So probs be trying to skip a class and lay down at the nurse.. :/
Well good morning.

"Cave, Cave, Cave..... I swear I know him.... But how? I have record of his name in my data banks...." He turned back to Caroline. "I am sorry for the... Rudeness, miss Caroline. Is there something you would like while I... Sort things out?"
