په ژمې کې لکه ېخۍ

شمال په قهر سره الوزى

هغه د محبت لپاره وږي دى   

هره شپه شپوږمې ته انګولل کوي

In winter like ice

The wind blows with anger

Hungry to become an object of affection

Every night she howls to the moon.
