‘’I killed those men, robbed them as cold as ice. And I’d do it again, too. There’s no chance in keeping me alive or anything, because I’d kill again. I have hate crawling through my system.’’
Aileen Wuornos was a female serial killer who operated between 1989 and 1990, hitchhiking along highways all over north and central Florida as a prostitute where much of her killings took place. Police stumbled across her first victim’s body in the woods on November 30th, 1989. The man had sustained several bullets wounds, two of which impaired his left lung. Aileen struck again a few months later, two more bodies being found by the police that had both been shot multiple times with a small caliber weapon. Over the course of the years, more dead bodies would show up scattered across Central Florida, all of whom had suffered a number of shots. Their cars would often be located in different cities than where their bodies were found. Aileen was captured on January 9th, 1990, and confessed to killing all these men in self-defense after they’d tried to rape her. After a two-week trial, she was convicted of killing six men, to which she yelled to the jury, “May your wife and children get raped, right in the ass!” She was executed by lethal injection in 2001, her last words being, ‘’I’d just like to say I’m sailing with the Rock and I’ll be back like Independence Day with Jesus, June 6, like the movie, big mothership and all. I’ll be back.’’
