I couldn't be more excited to share my first Vashwood fic, inspired by @pastaart's amazing piece!

I had so much fun writing this and getting to pull inspiration from my experiences of attending Obon while growing up. A lot of fun firsts and milestones with this piece, including participating in my first reverse bang, so I hope you enjoy reading it!

Vash and Nicholas agree “going steady” is the best way to describe their relationship. They’re considerate of each other’s boundaries and try not to pry into the other’s past. They go on weekend outings when they have time, and do date nights at home when they’re busy.

So, Nicholas’ suggestion of attending Obon together excites Vash since he’ll be able to experience a part of Nick’s childhood. And wanting to provide the best experience for his boyfriend, Nicholas will make sure they do it all: games, food, dancing, and more.

It's my first time making a purse, so it's a little rough around the edges. Also sewing round things is kind of hard lol.

Overall, I'm really happy with it! It's a good size and even has an inner pocket.

One cool thing about being on Tumblr for so long is that you can go back and look at my first attempts at digital art. The improvement over the years has been insane.

I used to sit in my tiny dorm room, with my little bamboo wacom tablet, and draw for hours while watching Tom and Jerry and Looney toons.

Now I own a house, draw while sitting on my sofa, and run an Etsy shop.
