This sure has been a month. I have been screaming about my thesis, culminating in deciding to postpone my graduation. I have yet to get over it to be honest. At the moment I feel and know that my body needs rest, and yet I feel guilt anytime I am at home not sitting at my laptop. The rest of my time has been made up of me trying to forget about academic work with the help of graphic novels, embroidery, dog cuddles and yet another tma relistening. I am currently in the middle of season three and it has been great to turn my brain off without having to waste too much energy.
KKOB Week 2026 is officially over! As season four of “Bridgerton” wraps up, the actors talk about the sex in part two, where they go now, and the emotional heft of saying good
When I ask them how they’re feeling about this being their last interview and about the conclusion of this season, Thompson turns to Ha and asks, “Yes, Yerin, how are you feeling?” as though I’m missing an inside joke. She laughs, a bit embarrassed.
“I was fully realizing that all of this is going to come to an end,” says Ha. “The show is going to be out there for the people to see, and then it will come to an end. And then yesterday, as I was talking to my friend and talking about Punch the monkey, I started crying!”
Thompson hasn’t cried — yet. But the end of this ride for Benedict is “very moving,” he says, and he wonders if maybe it will hit him when it really is all over next week. “It’s such a huge process. You spend so much time just trying to get through it. Like, I’m wondering, ‘Did I make the most of it?’ Because you’re so busy tackling it, you don’t necessarily sit back and think, ‘I did that thing.’”
VALENTINA VALENTINI: Let’s start at the very end: How good was that secret epilogue scene?!
LUKE THOMPSON: Well, we didn’t know until the final edit that it was going to go after the credits.
YERIN HA: Yeah, it kind of got rejigged.
LT: We filmed it thinking it would be part of the whole episode. Maybe they thought it was too long, but it’s lovely because it feels like a little extra secret. If you are patient enough to wait until the credits roll and you don’t just slam your laptop down, you get rewarded, which I think is cool.
VV: Do you know people who missed it? I missed it, embarrassingly.
LT: People have missed it! So, it’s good — it’s teaching patience. Stay with it. Sit with it. Before you move on to — I don’t know — empty the dishwasher.
YH: Also, because the credits are a way to applaud the people behind the scenes as well.
LT: Exactly.
YH: So, please watch!
VV: Luke, we talked about you learning to draw way back in the first time I talked to you. Have you kept that up?
LT: Yeah. Occasionally. It’s the thing that’s nice about acting — I think you get to learn a little skill like that. I mean, I had a lot more time on my hands in the first seasons to do all the drawing, and that was nice. I think it’s always something I’m curious about picking up.
VV: Did you do any of the drawings?
LT: I sort of tweaked a little bit of them, but no. When it is part of a big design exercise, you do have to hand it over. I had more things to worry about this season!
VV: What comes next for these characters now that their season has concluded?
YH: That’s a great question for the writers! I mean, it’d be nice to see them still in their cottage. And maybe have kids.
LT: Yeah, that’d be nice, wouldn’t it? I think they’d be good parents.
YH: I think they’d be great parents.
VV: You guys are too cute just looking at each other.
LT: And, like, they’re obviously making way for whoever is next, but also they’re two characters who have a hotline to quite a few of the siblings. So, it’d be nice for them to keep that. They’ve got closeness with Francesca and Eloise …
VV: They could pop in and out.
LT: Yeah! We shall see.
VV: How does it feel to have this all come to an end?
YH: It feels like the end of a chapter but also the beginning of a chapter because we will always be part of the family. It’s a bit bittersweet.
LT: And also, Sophie and Benedict will live on. You know, 50 years from now, someone could watch the story of Sophie and Benedict. It’s there now. Forever.

By medium: 6 art/129 fic
Total word count: 312,830 words
By participant: There were twenty-three people who created 1 work each, four who made 2 works each, six who made 3 works each, and some participants made up to 10, 12, 14, and even 17 works each! Plus, 5 works that were posted anonymously! (That means the six most prolific creators made almost half the works in the collection!)
By rating: We received 47 General Audiences works, 51 Teen +, 19 Mature, 15 Explicit, and 3 works that were not rated.
By campaign: 20 for Campaign 1, 37 for Campaign 2, 22 for Campaign 3, 55 for Campaign 4, 5 EXU! (There are 83 works set in Exandria and 55 works set in Aramán, with three being crossovers!)
By character:
Unique characters: 87
Most popular characters were Caleb Widogast (22 appearances!), Bolaire Lathalia (15 appearances!), Astrid Becke (14 appearances!), and Ashton Greymoore (13 appearances!)!
By relationship:
Unique relationships: 124! Talk about biodiversity!
Most popular relationships were Astrid/Eadwulf/Caleb (5), followed closely by Bolaire & Azune, Bolaire & Murray, and Hal/Thaisha, all with 4 each! The vast majority of relationships had only one appearance!
Relationship Categories: Gen fic accounted for nearly half of the works produced, with 67 works, followed by a tie between F/F and F/M for 22 works each, Multi with 16, M/M with 11, and the Other category with 7 works.

A little appreciation for our most active contributes this year.
As of 17Nov2025 user @/strawberrygiorno takes the crown again with 58 birds posted. Long-time followers know that strawberry was last years top submitter as well.
But! I'd watch out, seems word has gotten out about the blog and one user in particular has given us quite the pool to choose from. Think they could claim the title for 2026?

2025 Accuracy Check
We better study up for 2026! Our accuracy has decreased since last year by 3%. In 2024 we were correct 50% of the time, now we are only correct 47% of the time.

Species Count
This year we had a whopping 282 different species to add to our WTB life lists. We just barely beat out last year's 276.
Pine Siskin, Purple Finch, and the Common Merganser were the most sighted birds this year with four posts each.
Any bets on next years?
Locations
Believe it or not, we are far less traveled this year. This year, we only visited 47 locations, compared to last years 62. Minnesota reigns supreme again with 99 posts. Our big 5 stayed mostly the same, with the only change being UK breaking into the top.
