avoidant culture is seeing people villainize avoidant attachments and give endless grace to anxious clingy attachments, and not being able to do anything about it. acting like anxious attachments can do no wrong, while calling avoidant attachments abusers, instead of saying that they are both morally neutral on their own and equally capable of causing harm

It is incredibly frustrating to navigate, and this is not the fault of anxious attachers as a whole of course, I think its more attributable to a wider culture that has issues with consent and entitlement. Avoidants do absolutely have ethical and health related shortcomings, but so do anxious attachers. The effort to demonise one of these groups (and that also applies to the minority who demonise anxious attachment style) is incredibly counter productive and unhelpful.
