For folks who don't know, I work as an on-call library clerk, which means I get called to fill in for when staffing is short or other staff calls in sick. Work hours were really limited this past month of April and I am short on rent by about $350.

well. it's that time again.

as much as I hate to be here again, I'm in... dire straights, honestly. today we've lost the only vehicle the household had and won't have anything until maybe Sunday. which means in the meantime we're scrambling to figure out how my roommate will make it to work, we don't have a way to grocery shop- without paying extra for it and I can't use my foodstamp card if I'm not physically there- and what pennies I can make doing uber delivery driving when the roomy isn't working to pay for animal food and cat litter is dried up.

times are tight for everyone. I'm not insulted if no one can help. believe me, I get it, as much as I wish that I didn't. I still owe some people commissions from last time (which I am working on! two down, three to go!) so emergency commissions are still a thing, and I also now have a ko-fi that I set up to hopefully help too, on top of paypal. seriously, anything will help even if it's just sharing the post. I hate being here, I do. but government disability is absolutely dragging it's feet, been a year since any progress was made, but speaking to my lawyers they've told me there's nothing I can do but continue to wait.
