GUYS IM SO SORRY I HAVE BEEN MIA ON THIS ACCOUNT ! i am much more active on my instagram *sigh* so sorry! But I really wanted to let you guys know that within a few hours of its release date Honey lemon soda volume 8 sold over 1,000,000 copies!!!! I am so happy that so many people here in japan love this manga and I’m truly hoping it gets adapted into an anime! I’m currently here in Japan and managed to grab a copy for my friend & I and i just can’t get over how beautiful the volume cover is. There’s so much intimacy between them & the way Kai looks at her is just so wonderful 💖 also my translation for chapter 33 is on my instagram! I’m sorry for not announcing it earlier!!!

Chapter 30 translation

I really want to apologize because my original translation of chapter 30 had some mistakes! So I’m really sorry guys for not checking up on it sooner!! 😩 i promise to never translate when I’m jet lagged ever again lol. I realized my mistakes when I was re-reading the chapter again yesterday! I will make a new summary for 30 & also one for 32! Please be patient with me!! I know I promised a summary for chapter 32 today but I was so busy! 😩 I did translate chapter 30 correctly on instagram so in the mean time please check it out!

I posted up the translation to chapter 32 on my story! You can view them directly under my highlights :)! I figured you guys would prefer it this way! I’ll post up the summary later on today if I have time and possibly might do this for chapters 30 & 31. This is just a bit time consuming and I am an otaku with a social life hehe 😆 so I’ll try my best to do them today ! The last few pages still get me upset 😡 *sigh* why!

Mayu Murata Honey Lemon Soda INTERVIEW SPECIAL

I forgot to post this up yesterday on here, but as I was finishing up reading the rest of the manga’s in Ribon, towards the end they featured a little interview for Mayu Murata the mangaka of honey lemon soda! I just want to share this with you guys ESPECIALLY technique 5! Do you remember chapter 31 of honey lemon soda?! SPECIFICALLY the last page with Uka blushing after the kiss and Kai’s face not being shown? So Mayu Murata explains how some things were originally different. I’m only posting the translation for technic 5  because I would’ve LOVED to see that happen! Apparently this scene had caused her a few problems because she originally had a different ending. Originally she was going to show Kai’s face extremely red and blushing after he kissed Uka but it was changed in the final draft. Instead she wanted the readers to imagine but it is hinted how Kai’s face would’ve been since Uka’s face was shown to be blushing!  She also makes it clear that his feelings correlate with Uka’s monologue when she says “好きで 好きでおかしくなりそうだ.” I’m so sad they didn’t go with the original scene instead! I would’ve preferred it so much over the other one because It’s SO RARE to get Kai’s perspective on Uka! Hopefully she can bless us with this scene in the future!💕I posted the full interview on here just in case you guys would love to read it since she does answer some questions you might want answered! 🍯If you want a translation just reply on here to let me know you’d like me to do one for the rest of the techniques!

Although it had its cute moments i’m extremely frustrated there’s a 3rd girl that will become Uka’s rival. Seto at the end said “somehow she reminds me of Ishimori...” -______________- I just keep re-reading Kai’s confession telling Uka that he was serious about being in love with her as well throughout the 8 months before they started dating. I hope he handles this rival *sigh* PART 1
