you will live and you will say the wrong things and make mistakes and people will love you anyways.
i made this post because i've got so many friends that think saying something wrong in a conversation is the end of the world. it isn't. you'll be okay. you don't have to be embarrassed about every little thing. you are alive and doing things and speaking to people. you will make mistakes and you will live.
when you keep yourself small all the time (swallowing the words you want to say, seeing everybody else as though they’re automatically above you, downplaying your feelings and achievements), the entire world will constantly be looming over you. that’s not the way to live your life. you’re supposed to be experiencing it, not be subjected to it. (this is your sign to take up more space)
Another day of being a sweetiepie. Just clocked in

You can get through this one step at a time.

Whatever method you use to stop hating your body is as valid as another. Body neutrality, appreciating your body because it takes you where you need to go and houses your soul, looking at your body through an aesthetic/artistic lense and loving/appreciating it as a piece of art, finding sexual power/feeling hot in your body, loving it because it helps you connect to your loved ones... It's all valid. As long as it helps you find peace, it's valid.
Listen, it's imperative that when things get really overwhelming in your own mind that you do something nice as a distraction instead of keeping on ruminating those thoughts and feelings. Sometimes, it can be practicing mindfulness, sometimes it can be reading a book, watching a movie, taking a shower, going on a walk. If you're too tired, try listening to some music, watching a short video, looking up pictures of dogs or playing something on your phone. Our thoughts can become a lot to handle, and sometimes sitting through them can't be done without feeling like you're focusing too much on the source of stress itself, so finding a positive distraction to help you "get out of your head" is so important. It's feels nice to remind yourself that there is a whole world outside of yourself and that focusing too much on your own thoughts will only make you more anxious instead of solving any problems (and many times, you will find better solutions on the outside world, or at least, you will find help).
