I had to search up who makoto and kusuke were and was shocked to discover the gays, i swear i saw a video about those two days ago and its a shame they never got screentime together now im curious, what was it that got you to ship the two, and would you kindly show the fankid? :3?

WOW what fantastic questions I wonder who asked the-OH HI ZYN!! I've never had mutuals from one fandom get interested in my other fandoms so this is such a shock xD THANK YOU FOR THE INTEREST THOUGH!

So, embarrassingly enough, Makokuu is my favourite ship of all times. When I got into Saiki K properly in 2023, I stumbled across this ship on here ye hellsite. It was an immediate neuron activation. They had tropes. They had sauce. They were like my other favourite ships. I saw the potential. However, I was not fully convinced. I did what I do for every other ship - I went on ao3 dot com.

...And the top ship on the Makokuu tag became my favourite fanfic of all times. It rewired my brain. I must have read it like 20 times by now. IT WAS NOT EVEN CLOSE TO BEING COMPLETED. (Btw it actually got deleted from ao3 by its author. It has been archived, but it's a very explicit fic, so I won't be linking it here. You can find it on tumblr though.)

All my other favourite ships are either so popular I never need to bother with making content myself, or so niche there's nothing to latch onto and I get bored immediately. However, because of this one peak unfinished fic, Makokuu happens to perfectly toe the line for me. Also because Saiki K is a goated show. Since then, I have been haunted by this ship,,, i literally get hyperfixated on it once a year, against my own volition,

That aside, here's my reference of the fankid - Midori (Yes, just green, Makoto nicknamed her.)

I made her as a joke (can you imagine if Makoto and Kusuke had to take care of a KID?) but then I actually got really attached to her concept... Kusuke found her in the literal dumpster one day and Makoto begged him to take her in. A set of missing parents later and comedy logic and they become her legal guardians. Oopssssss :P

If I am to write a Makokuu fanfic, it's most likely going to be about that

I don’t mean to spam you, but could I possibly get Makokuu in a band? I’m writing a fanfic about that and I need ideas lmao

I am not currently able to draw this but I did think really hard about it. I am personally not a music orientated person and know really little about bands/music genres, but i hope this suffices lol.

ALSO SEND ME THE FIC WHEN ITS DONE i have a severe lack of Makokuu in my life. Please spam me about makokuu actually. i especially have fun writing headcanon stuff like this heh

Makoto - Main Vocalist, pop boy band. I think if he wasnt an actor he'd definitely be in a boy band with 4 other conventionally attractive looking guys, although he'd be far the most popular (and know it). Do you think people write fanfics about getting kidnapped by Makoto's band like they did with one direction

Kusuke - Keyboard Synthesizer, techno. Although I personally think Kusuke would not be in a band if he was a musician. I think he would anonymously post songs to the internet that go viral and specifically just so Kusuo is stuck hearing his songs in everyone's thoughts. or maybe they're on some special frequency that annoys psychics specifically. something to make Saiki's life a living hell

Fun Fact: Wade is only their secondary name. Their Chinese name is 宋维海 (sòng wéi hǎi.) Sòng is a common chinese surname, and their given name means hold the sea! Wade would like swans.
