"Just breathe."
"just breathe?!" his tone unintentionlly became a tad louder than he intended. zael’s hand flew up in an attempt to relax the muscles on his face that were mindlessly being tensed up, perhaps from the frustration that he’s trying so hard not to show full on at that moment.
"i can’t… just… breathe." he says through grit teeth, before his eyes avert onto his skateboard on the floor, its board roughly broken into two pieces across the deck. in the carelessness of both parties, zael found himself bumping against someone to the point of losing his balance— and his skateboard went flying into the air. thankfully, nobody had their legs come in contact with the wooden board. unfortunately for zael, though, it had come in contact against a hard, bricked wall.
his eyes avert back to the stranger, who didn’t seem to fully grasp how utterly devastated zael was that his skateboard had broke, despite the fact that it was just a cheapo board he picked up at some bazaar not too long ago, in replacement of his board previous that one which had the same ending point as the one in front of him at that moment.
"look," he started, shaking his head while running his fingers through his grey-ish locks. "it’s fine. just leave." he uttered sternly, squatting down while looking the ruined bored from a closer distance. nope, that didn’t make him feel any better whatsoever.
