                 "yo," zael’s hand shoots up impulsively, brows raising almost instantly as he’s faced with the unfamiliar person who, so out of the blue, introduced herself to him. "nice to meet you, yea— i’m zael and…" he pauses, only realising that at that moment that she had came across him, he was hiding behind a tree— hiding from the group of guys around his age who were obviously waiting for someone. unsurprisingly, that someone was him. 

                 "i’m kinda in a tough spot right now." he ran his callused fingertips along the edges of his skateboard, which he held in his free hand. he tilted his head a tad and pointed at the group of people across the street using his lips, before uttering, "hiding from ‘em."

Well of course! Naturally, you and I are to become close friends who tell each other everything. Unless that's not okay with you, then we can just be normal friends. That's cool too. -she smiled, albeit nervously, at the girl in front of her, trying her best not to play with her hands and showcase how nervous she was-
