10 years ago today! That day heavens witnessed and the earth of the joining of that which was ordained to be together! I was gifted with a wonderful gift I now call my wife, the mother of my children; biological and spiritual! She’s a gift you don’t buy with money! A compliment from on high that I’m loved! She’s an expression of God’s divine grace. Those benefits we receive freely in Christ! I’m a better man, better pastor, better father because I have a wonderful helper! In 2005 Kevin Berthia went to the Golden Gate Bridge to end his life. He ended up talking about his life with Officer Kevin Briggs for 92 minutes while he was on the edge of the bridge. 10 years later they meet on the same bridge in much better circumstances. From when I begin teaching the young people in boxing, we have had more than 5 give their lives to Christ and many of them now fellowship with us! Today I chose to take a picture with them! All of them are boxers and every time I have some space, I go and help them out with different things. We recently started a cell at a football pitch and over 30 young people joined the cell and even started coming to church! This Sunday we gave them a ball because the one they were using was old! They are now devoted to coming and being part of ministry! We don’t need much to make a difference. A work has begun in them and we will further it by helping them develop their talents and creating more opportunities for them to advance what is in them! I had some time to talk with these few that represented the rest and found out they didn’t have a coach because the one they had left. 8 years ago on this day, I married God’s gift to me. On this special day I celebrate Christ, I celebrate love, and I celebrate perfection!
