Happy Anniversary to my incredibly wife. If I told someone that everyday for thirteen years, that they could wake up happier, stronger, more complete as each day passed, not a single person would hesitate to commit to that. That has been my everyday for the last 4,745 days. Thank you for saying yes thirteen years ago, but more so, thank you for everyday since then: for challenging me to grow, for being my support, my prayer support, my confidant, and so much more. I am blessed to learn from you as a parent, and to serve God alongside my best friend day after day and week after week. We have a “beautiful blessing” (Emi) and a “shining hope” (Aki) in our lives, both an incredible gift from God. But I can say with confidence that neither of them, nor myself, would be what we are if we didn’t have you. Thank you so much my beautiful wife.

Do you already miss 4 year old Aki? Me too!!! Well, here is one last #conversationwithaki as a four year old. We already love five year old Aki so much, and excited to see how our conversations grow... but I'm going to hold on to this video for just a little while longer. We are so excited to see the amazing kiddo you're growing up to be. And like that, 1st grade is done. It blows my mind how much someone can grow in one year... from reading and writing, animal research, your artwork, your appetite, your heart... She did it with a smile, encouraging some friends, pushed through a slightly sprained ankle, and all of it to help support her school which reached its fund-raising goal!!!!
