Dark nodded at her questions, returning her curious and excited smile when she leaned in, looking at him once again. The shade was just as curious as Aira was, and he burned to know what she was - but sadly she wouldn’t be able to answer him as she didn’t know herself. Yet, the young man was sure he would find out sooner or later.

At her last words his eyes widened slightly and a surprised expression took over his face. It wasn’t the first time that he got called different or interesting, but so far no one had ever combined these words with the sentence ‘I like that’. Was this…a compliment. "I…you do?"

She raised an eyebrow at his surprise. Was it that shocking for someone to like people who were different? After all, it made those who were also different feel less alone. At least, that's how she thought of it.

"Of course I do. Different is... nice. It's nice to see I'm not the only one who isn't normal. Isn't human even. So of course I like it. Besides, I love to learn, and you could provide quite the lesson for me."

She giggled a little and smiled at him again. Truly she did like him, this Dark was much better than the other she encountered. He wasn't annoying or flirty or well, homicidal. She enjoyed his company.
