May 2020 - Creeping Charlie is a band with a focus on creating music that feels personal and direct, embracing melodic indie rock influences and forward song arrangements without too many frills. What I mean is, the music gets right to the point, going for a simple, yet rich and powerful sensibility. After all, less is often more! Creeping Charlie’s new single, “Let Me Know” is a perfect example of what I am talking about. The track features soothing vocal melodies, along with some raw, yet melodic guitar parts cutting through the mix. The rhythm section is refreshingly direct and upfront, getting the job done, but also adding some clever nuances to spice the formula and enhance the uniqueness of the sound a bit more.
