Ohno asked one of the women if Her son looked at her with perverted eyes(she looks young for her age and has a 15 yr and 17yr son). I thought that was quite rude.

What Ohno exactly says is this:

"Musuko-san kara henna me de miraremasen?"

Which has this literal translation: Does your son look weird at you?

He is using “weird” not “pervert”, some people here in tumblr has given the interpretation that he was meaning what you say. I have seen some gif and translation…

For me, my humble knowledge of japanese and some years of been an Ohno fan, what he was trying to say is if is not weird for her son to have a mother who looks like that (young and pretty). Because after yoko says “what are you saying Oh-chan? he says “konna de kirei dakara” “because she so beautiful”. This is just my opinion.

Anyway I dont want to make this long, thank you for telling me ^__^

Ok first: He was supossed to judge those women and guess her age, that was the show about. The concept is sexist, yes it is, but that is not Ohno's fault. Second: All his comments where about his guessing for those women age and were about their skin or they wrinkles (is that sexist?), Or his OPINION on how the women look for him (like one of them seemed like an ex-yankee, is that sexist?). Of course when he was in the wrong HE END ALWAYS APOLOGIZING. Third: I did not find the concept of the show funny at all, BUT I ADMIRE K8 and Ohno for been always praising the girls saying that all of them look super young and beautiful and with a really good style. If I were one of those girls even if Ohno mistaken me for a 40 years old, just for all the praises those guys were telling me I wouldn't be mad at all. Also all of them accept the consecuences of being judge when they accepted going to the show. And finally I reallly want to know what is what Ohno's said that make you been ashamed of him?
