I don't think I'm going to return.

I've tried, I really have, and I still love my OCs.. but I think I'm done with the Megaman fandom. It's pretty obvious, considering my lack of inactivity.

I'll miss Rie and Patches and the rest of the Kasaya family, as well as the shenanigans we've had here.

I'll probably leave the blog up so I can come back and see all the fun RPs I've had, but that's about it.

I do have another blog, an Ace Attorney one, if anyone's interested. thegavinbros among a few others.

So.. yeah.

I figured, I ought to make it official.

I will free up the yaiayano url, however, by changing my url's name.

Joking. But, I'm going to try and hop on here every other day at least, so there's that. Try for some replies before I have to head off, at the least will draft what I owe.

"…" She does not acknowledge this visitor. She’s too busy reading a file.

Rie fidgeted in the doorway, watching the girl closely. She did not seem to be much older than Rie herself.

Still, Rie hesitated. She picked at the straps of her backpack before clearing her throat.

"Uh, hey? Anyone home?"

// Sorry I haven't really been on the past few days. I busied myself making another Ace Attorney RP blog, and that's kept me busy.

I will get to things in just a minute. First, I've got to do something around the house.

ϟ — ; Why wouldn't he be okay? It's not like she was some sort of colossal navi. Sure, when she fell on him and knocked him down, she surprised him, but it's not like she was really heavy anyways, and he just got up again afterwards.

Surely she hadn't thought she'd inflicted more damage than she actually did?

Well it didn't make a difference either way, because she'd already moved on to fretting about something else.

"Data? No I can't say I've seen any around..."

Patches sighed. "Yeah, I didn't think so."

Really--she needed to keep a better eye on things. What if it wasn't just a recipe, but something from Mr. Kasaya? She would have been in so much trouble!

Speaking of him, she wondered where he went.

(Not now, Patches. You are spacing out again~!)

"I need to--start looking for the data," she told him. "My NetOp will get pretty upset if I don't find it." A laugh, short and unamused. "Oh, I didn't get your name? I'm Patches, nice to meet you...?"

Pen held up two fingers as she skipped ahead again, her over-sized red sweatshirt flopping up and down, “Nearly two years.” She’d put it on after the tour since now she didn’t have to look to professional.

"Must be fun," Rie commented, determined to keep this conversation going, somehow. She managed to keep up with Pen, again asking another question--"How old are you, again?"

Pen giggled, “It’s not a problem at all! Like I said, we’re going to a place near there anyways. And I get it, aren’t all navis?” She skipped ahead, her hands behind her back, then spun around to make sure Rie was following.

Rie grinned. "Unfortunately."

She sauntered after Pen, her hands dug into the pockets of her frayed black jeans. Don't hate, frayed jeans were in. And they were super-triple cute with her boots.

"So," she exhaled, "how long have you worked... well... here?"

"Of course!" Pen said to both questions, worried she’d freaked her out. "I understand."  She walked her to the comp the navis were in and jacked Role out.

Rie felt a little silly, but it was worth asking. Police, or anyone related to such an occupation, made the redhead nervous--and for good reason. "Thanks," she murmured. They return to the comp and jacked their Navis out and, boy, did Patches have something to say.

"Don't you ever run off like that again, Mimi!"

"But I didn't--"

"No excuses! Now you thank this lovely lady for offering you a ride back to school!"

There was no arguing with her, so Rie gave Pen a somewhat sour look and said, "Thank you, again. Sorry, she's--she's a bit of a nag," she explained, slipping her PET back into its case.

"Yeah, like cops for the net, kinda." Pen explained, "I’m like a spy, it’s cool." She chose to ignore the lingered comment about Chaud. They were definitely more than friends, but no need to tell her that.

And a rock formed in Rie's throat. "You're taking me back to the school, right?" Just to be clear. No house trips with anyone who refers themselves as 'like a spy'.

"Mind if we go get our Navis, now? Patches probably misses me."

"Penelope Clearwater." She said, "Call me Pen." It wasn’t her real name, but she never, ever used her real one. "And yeah-" Her face reddened and her tone was defensive, "He’s my partner sometimes in netsavior missions. Known him since I was five or so."

Rie knew that look. She had had enough boyfriends and crushes to know what Pen's tone indicated. In-ter-est-ing~ "NetSavior missions?" She looked rather curious at that. She heard the term before... Sometimes by her father, which worried her some. "So you two are friends. Cool, cool."

"I told them they could, and not to worry about it. They didn’t want to leave without you." She assured her. "And yeah, Chaud and I have to head in that direction, so we’ll take you." She smiled broadly at the manners, "You’re very welcome! Oh, and our navis are hanging out together~"

That hardly soothed Rie's hurt ego, but it would have to do. At least this was better than being caught somewhere she should not have been, and being in some real trouble.

She perked up at the mention of Patches. Breathing a sigh of relief, she said, "Phew. Good. I mean--Patches tends to get lost, and I couldn't have my Navi stuck somewhere.

"I'm Rie, by the way. Rie Kasaya. What's yours? ...And oh, you know Chaud, do you?" She masked her jealousy well with curiosity. Hard to be a fan, sometimes.

"Hm, well, your teachers were a bit frantic, but I promised her I’d get you back, so you’ve missed the bus." Pen pretty much ignored her excuse. "Unless of course you’d like to stay?"

"They left without me?!" Ooooh! Just another reason Rie hated that stupid place. (Well, no, she didn't hate school, but she certainly wasn't happy she'd been left behind.)

At the offer to stay, Rie pouted. "I've seen all the places available to the schools and public already," she replied. "I just need to jack my Navi out, and okay, I guess you can take me back." She rubbed the back of her neck sheepishly. "...I'd appreciate it, I mean. Thanks." It was a begrudging thanks, but a thanks nonetheless. Typical teenage effort.
