Have you ever heard of being /nice/ to nice people. Not even being friends just. Common manners and politeness. Instead of assuming they are out to get you.

Her kindness doesn’t seem to phase him at all- his attitude doesn’t seem to change.

She blinked blankly at his assumptions. 

“Ah-? Interrogate you?!” The prospect seemed so ridiculous she nearly doubled over with laughter. “Hun- I don’t have a problem with you at all! I just wanted a hug. Nothing more. What could I possibly want with something so serious right now anyways~?” 

She was off duty! I mean, if he wanted to admit to some crime she would do something about it but-

With Elecman, everyone has an ulterior motive- he's grown to be a suspicious navi over the past few years, though you probably couldn't really blame him, could you?

"I'm not a 'hun'. And anyone who says they don't have a problem with me is usually lying. So why don't you just make this easier for all of us and tell me what you're really after so I can go?"
