henlo babs!  it’s that Time Again where i officially announce m’hiatus.  this is def nothing permanent, but my life’s gotten rly hectic in the last few weeks and at the end of the day, i’m always Exhausted, which makes it hard to log on and actually be…. Productive. so, for right now i’m putting all my blogs on hiatus until things slow down and i can actually Be Here!! thank u all for your patience!! smooches!!!

Since Garrus was CSEC, and the Ryders grew up on the Citadel… do you ever think they met? Like the Ryder twins get into trouble all the time for vandalism or staying out past curfew or other small things… and one night, someone knocks on the door, and when Alec opens it it’s just grumpy looking Garrus with the twins for the billionth time, and he’s just so fed up.

I saw this and I just HAD to because it’s a brilliant idea. The two Ryder twins at 15, making life tough for their favorite Citadel cop. Those two are adrenaline junkies.

     The thought of some ever-present entity, floating constantly in the back of his mind, constantly listening, constantly analyzing every inflection of every word and thought - he’d never admit it, but the thought is terrifying. A pervasive invasion of privacy, that could be woven directly into a person’s gray matter. 

     He’d asked her, not with anything particularly devious in mind, but more in hopes to get some kind of confirmation that something like that wasn’t actually possible.

HER FEATURES DROPPED, BLANK AND UNFLINCHING, like she had something to hide.   unconsciously, she cradled her wrist in her hand  -------  fingertips pressed into the skin, waiting for that ever - reassuring THUMP of a pulse.  she was pathfinder.  she had died.   whether she WANTED an ai in her head or not was irrelevant now.  

SAM was just as much a part of her, as she was of him.  her father had kept the EXTENT of the bond a secret, for good reason, and so she’d do the same.  nothing short of a silent refusal to answer, she responded with,   “    are YOU bothered by artificial intelligence?    ”
