Hi Tumblr! Wow! I haven’t updated in quite a long time. Baby girl is 19 months now and the best little thing ever. So full of personality and life. Between her, school, and work I stay constantly busy. I wasn’t change a thing though!

I have been MIA for a while. Life has just been relentless between work, school, and home. My mom isn't doing well health wise and right now I'm just hoping she makes it through Addilyn's 1st birthday at the end of the month. Here is a cute picture of my girl in her Christmas pjs though 😍

We got our cotton field session edited and finalized today. I love the images...for the most part. I'm really struggling with body positivity after gaining 20lbs after pregnancy which is 30lbs different from my pre-pregnancy weight. I use to love running and I still enjoy exercising but it's hard to find the time: Between work, being a wife, mother and helping my mom it's always at the bottom of my to do list.

6 more months to live..

That's how much more time my mom has with us. She was in remission in August from lung cancer but they found 6 tumors in her brain during an MRI yesterday.

I don’t understand why books have shifted from having summaries on the back of the covers to having one-line reviews.

Seriously though. I want to know what the book is about. Not that someone from the Evening Standard thinks it’s a masterpiece.

Life with my beautiful family recently. Addilyn turned 9 months old and is the ultimate joy. Her little personality is blossoming and I absolutely love being her mom. My husband is amazing and such a great father to this little angel. He is doing both school and work full time and still manages to make us his priority. Of course no marriage is perfect but we grow stinger together. I am working part time but usually picking up extra hours during the week and trying to get back into school. Long story short the program I was enrolled in for my masters degree didn't work out so I am perusing my masters in nursing education from WGU. I should start in November and finish in a year!

Skype with my baby while we are in San Francisco with my sister in law and her new baby. I can't wait to get back home to her. Miss her way too much

IM AN AUNT!!!! I never thought I would have the chance to be an aunt so I am over the moon to welcome my nephew Lennon to the world. And luckily he arrived the last day of our visit to San Francisco.
