If you could become a human or a demon for a week, which would you choose and what would you do during that week?
Michael frowns. “Definitely human. And, I dunno. Maybe...” He trails off. “Just... do normal human things...?” he says, sounding very uncertain.

Michael looks mildly confused for a moment, before poking his head into Raphael’s office.
“Would you say I’m a jock or a prep?” he asks.
“Prep.” Raphael says casually, not hesitating a second.
Great! He was coming towards him! Michael turns away and starts walking away quickly. Maybe it wasn’t too late. No, it was too late, but Michael really didn’t want to have this awkward meeting.
He was walking away. He was really walking away from him. Lucifer sighed. But it was.. too late to turn back now. He was almost there- it’d be even more awkward just to turn back to leave.
“Michael.” He said, quietly. He half hoped Michael would directly tell him to fuck off. Then he’d at least have an excuse to leave.
Michael pauses as the Fallen speaks his name, a pained expression crossing his face. Yes, it was definitely too late. He turns around, a friendly smile on his face. “Lucifer! I didn’t see you there.” he says politely.
Michael glanced from building to building, somewhat confused. He… would definitely need directions at this point. He had absolutely no idea where—
Michael’s thoughts halted as he caught sight of the Fallen. What was he doing here? And why did he have to be exactly where Michael was? And… why did he have to be staring right at him. Michael wondered if it was too late to pretend he didn’t see him.
It was. Michael stared back, wondering if he could just back away, or something.
Shit. He was spotted. Should he- Should he go over? Lucifer scratched his head. He really, really didn’t want Michael to see him like this. But he had also been spotted. The Fallen sighed.
Ok, fine. He would approach him and pretend everything was fine. And, if he started ran away when Lucifer approached maybe that was for the better. Lucifer slowly got up, and started walking towards Michael.
Here goes nothing.
Great! He was coming towards him! Michael turns away and starts walking away quickly. Maybe it wasn’t too late. No, it was too late, but Michael really didn’t want to have this awkward meeting.
Uriel flushed at the look on Michael’s face. He honestly hadn’t meant to do this much. He just… got lost in thought while decorating and had looked up to find the place in its current state.
It hadn’t quite occurred to him that it would look like too much until he saw Michael standing right in the middle of it, hair still disheveled, hands still dirty.
Suddenly a lot more conscious of how he must look, Uriel shuffled slightly. “I… I had meant to fix the traditional foods, but I forgot to get ingredients for them.” He really had been distracted this morning while getting ready… He shot the other angel a sheepish look. “How do you feel about noodles?”
Michael grinned, reaching over to give Uriel a pat on the back. “That sounds great!” he paused for a second, the grin softening. ”And you did a really great job with everything,” he added sincerely. Michael had noticed how suddenly awkward Uriel looked, and he couldn’t help but feel guilty. It was his fault he had practically forgotten about all of this.
He gave the other angel a small smile, very much liking the feeling of Michael’s hand on his back and hoping he didn’t take it away soon. Unsure how to respond to the compliment, he gave a quiet thanks, well aware his cheeks were starting to get hot.
“I have um… I have been looking forward to today. A nice break from paperwork, and,” He paused slightly before pushing ahead, voice a bit softer than before. “A–a nice day to spend with you.” Not quite wanting to move into the kitchen, he simply stood there, gently leaning into Michael’s touch and hoping–as it seemed he constantly was nowadays–that what he said hadn’t been too much.
Michael’s smile softens. “It is nice to simply spend the day with you, as well.” he replies, glancing at Uriel’s house. “Funny, I... I have grown to feel very comfortable while in this house.” he says, before glancing back to Uriel, the smile still on his face. “You are... keeping me sane in these hard times, my friend.” he says quietly, the volume of his voice dropping into an almost-whisper.

Michael stares for a few moments. “I... I don’t know? Probably... the same things I do now?” What kind of question was that?
Luce needed to clear his head, get out a bit. That’s what his esteemed secretary said, anyways. He should have fired that one ages ago. But, he was still shooed out the door.
So, here he was, in the middle of a human city standing around with nothing to do. At least the fresh air was nice. Lucifer sat on a nearby bench, deciding he’d just watch people- it was too early to go back anyways.
It wasn’t often that Michael got the chance to go down to Earth, but as Gabriel had been gone for a while, he had taken it on himself to pick up some of his field duties. It had actually been Uriel’s idea—on his own Michael would’ve been content with doing paperwork.
The first thing was a meeting with a group of messenger angels. Apparently it was in some city, in a building. Michael wandered around, refusing to admit he might be lost. At least he had gotten Raphael to make him a charm—something to hide his wings. Along with that, and a pair of regular human clothes, Michael felt almost… relaxed. He would find the place. Eventually.
Lucifer didn’t look too out of place, he had a suit on and his wings hidden, after all.
He was the first to spot Michael. Shit. Lucifer swallowed. Of all the people he could have seen here, it was Michael. Hell, he’d rather see a one of his children after a fight than his brother.
Should he go over and say hello? That would be the polite thing to do. But.. Lucifer wasn’t going to approach family when he was in this.. state. He just stared at the other instead, hoping he didn’t catch on that someone was staring at him.

Food was almost ready in the oven and a wrapped present sat in the corner of his living room. He had even prepared the fireplace for a small fire, though he’d feel a bit ridiculous lighting it now. Michael didn’t seem to have thought about today at all, and Uriel had done so much…
He coughed slightly, trying to shake the thoughts from his head, and again smiled at his friend. “Um, are you hungry? I made food besides just the cookies..”

Michael entered the house, eyes widening at the thorough decoration. He… hadn’t expected this much at all. Uriel really got into the holiday spirit this year. Michael couldn’t help but feel a little bad. He must look like a disorganized mess compared to Uriel. He didn’t even get the chance to wash the ink off his hands yet.
"Ah, I…" Michael had to pause for a moment to diagnose his hunger. Was he hungry? He supposed he was—either way, he’d be able to tell instantly once he started eating. "What did you make?" he asked with an interested grin. Uriel had always been a very good cook—whatever he made had to be delicious.

He waved off the apology, smile becoming more genuine as Michael talked. Despite his nervousness... he absolutely agreed. Spending time with his friend would be absolutely wonderful. He spread out his wings. "Are you ready to go? Er," He paused awkwardly. He supposed he should give Michael at least a little warning about everything he had done for Yule. "I hope you like cookies. I didn't realize how much I was baking."
Michael glanced over at Uriel's wings--the light powder was obvious on his dark wings--with a small smile. It was fairly obvious that Uriel had been baking, but Michael had no clue what it was--until now. Cookies? Well, it would be interesting to see.
"I'm ready." Michael said, stepping outside and spreading his wings as well.
A smile found its way onto his face as Michael opened the door, only for it to falter slightly when he saw the other. Michael... didn't look ready at all. Had he even remembered that they were going to spend Yule together? He kept the smile on his face while his mood sunk. He had been looking forward to this day for a bit now, but now Michael was going to walk into his house and see all the work he had put in... Uriel hoped Michael didn't think he was too pathetic. "Er... no. Just come as is."
Michael blushed slightly as he caught the falter in Uriel's smile. He did look like quite a mess, and Uriel probably was thinking that he had forgotten about their plans! He hadn't, not really. He just... had been a little preoccupied.
"Sorry," Michael said, smiling sheepishly. "It'll be... very nice to get away from things."
Uriel knocked on Michael's door, wings fluttering nervously behind him. He had spent the whole morning preparing his home for spending the day with Michael. He was pretty sure he still had some traces of powdered faboan in his wings from all the baking he'd been doing, but at the moment he didn't care. Mostly he just hoped that Michael was ready, and hadn't changed his mind about spending Yule with him.
Michael opened the door, looking very much like he had forgotten about Yule entirely. Ink was over his hands and bags under his eyes. He had been pulling a late night, catching up on work while other things wouldn't be piling on him.
"Uriel," he said, almost sounding surprised before remembering why the other Archangel had come to the door. "Ah!" he said softly, his face lighting up slightly.
"Sorry, I, erm..." Michael trailed off, glancing at himself before back at Uriel. "Do I need to bring anything?"
Considering your posisition, people would consider it an honor to give you a massage, rather than see it as something demeaning. Still, you gotta do what makes you comfortable and a massage is not comfortable for you.
The Archangel sighs with relief. "I'm glad we finally came to that conclusion. Now I would prefer not talking about this any longer."
Would it be a bad thing if he did have a boyfriend currently?
Michael looked away from the speaker, pausing for a moment. "It would be his business." he said neutrally.
